Hey, I acknowledged that I have the beginnings of a not horribly shitty defense.

It's just a laughably bad offensive setup and I don't see a clear path to making it NOT so. I mean there's a way, but I don't wanna do it because it just looks really boring.

Yeah, they're called 'veteran draft picks' under the trade tab.

The problem is that the system is buggy and hard as hell to actually finish the transaction without locking it up and kicking it out then having to start all over. So I figured I'd throw a post up and see if anyone is interested.

Then, worst case scenario is that I make a pick FOR that guy and we get about trying to make the pick/player swaps work later.

I think Billay getting Russ is the pick of the draft, though. Mahomes was a no-brainer but if my memory of how QBs operate in this system is correct, Russell Wilson will be a friggen monster. Luck and Donald are defensible over him for various reasons, but I definitely do not understand Goff and Barkley is even a little iffy.

So the post-mortem on that deal (and even I wasn't sure of the rounds when made) was my 2nd, 4th and 6th for Billay's 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

We'll see how closely I can stick to my gameplan now. Dissapointed I couldn't come away with an extra pick rather than just shuffling some of them around, but with Tamba willing to deal behind me and Clay not willing to engage strongly in the time I had allotted, had to do what I could do.

I feel like I'll regret not standing pat but I wanted to pop the trade machine's cherry...
