Just got Julian Blackmon the Colts starting safety who is pretty good in coverage as my 3rd safety.

Gesicke isn't great but he'll do. I think he was like the 32nd TE drafted. The position got picked over so fast that by the time I realized it happened it barely seemed worth worrying about.

I feel like we were back to back and annoyingly synched up for the Chiefs1 draft as well.

So this is what happens when a person doesn't pay attention. In Chiefs1 league, I noticed that the Sandbox Bowl winning QB was none other than Taylor Heinicke. So I decide to drive up the price in FA, but fail to notice he's not on a team this year (yet). I now have him on my roster. :rolleyes:

i did some deep diving to get another 15 guys on my list. So I'm up to 40 and hopeful without having added a punter yet so that's one more guy out of the way.

And I'm hopeful that is all I'll need because man, I'm gonna struggle like crazy if I want to add any more.

This is why we eventually switched to the pre-selected group of random players for the bottom of the roster. But then people always kind of grouse about that list, so we switched it up again this time since everybody was a hardcore player. But even hardcore players get exhausted after 53 picks.

I wondered where my list of trash bags went.

Ryan Tannehill has been on my roster in Chiefs1 for 5 years as a donated QB. Its like dirt floor poor Christmas Morning.

That's probably a good thing the only thing I wish was that the list was culled down. So many players who aren't even on rosters or haven't played for a while.

yeah, neglected it way too long oh well but in one of my leagues i didn't have any tight ends that were healthy so I ran nothing out of base and zeroed out all my short yardage packages

I bought some time with a punter and longsnapper. Definitely had to take Martin after watching him deadeye dick 3 straight inside the 8 last night. Jesus that was a clinic.

I kind of blundered upon a starting safety a few picks ago - Rodney Thomas. But starters are rare these days.

If there are 22 starters on 32 team, that's 704 starters. We're somewhere around Pick 1,100 now, so we're drafting depth.

A bad snapper is probably going to mess up rarely while a good one will mess up extremely rarely. I don't know if cdcox has an announcement to blame it on a bad snap, though, or if it's just labeled as a missed field goal. I've never seen a bad snap announcement.

So it's possible that you've had an issue with a bad snap but we don't announce that as the reason.

Shit! Forgot about free agency and evidently had someone left unsigned as I hit 'offer contracts' so I had 1 dollar left to sign my starting DT. Crud. Gacked that a little bit.

Yeah, I was going to be at 13 but ended up at 14 with my roster !@#$up.

Then again, I had money left over that i didn't expect to when I was lining out my contracts so I tacked a few years onto guys at the bottom of the lineup...only to find out why.

So had I not goofed that up, I'd have probably ended up with MORE guys on 1 year deals. And 2 of them were gaming the system deals anyway. I signed St. Brown and Waddle to 1 year contracts knowing I would franchise them next season so whatev.

Essentially paid on credit by moving those guys big contracts out to next season.

The Diablos are remaking about half their roster with upgrades to most levels. Liking how things are taking shape.

I guess I just suck at this game, I knew my offense was going to be bad because I had Hoyer as my starter until Purdy came available now but my defense should be a lot better then it is. I get absolutely no pressure on the QB and I'm stacked with pass rushers.

What blitz percentages are you using?

Well I'm starting to think I messed up by going with a 3-4, I put tj Watt and Hunter as my Olb and rush them every play, I mix up the blitz's based on percentages but those two always rush. Depending on if it's nickel or dime i take the fatties off the field.

I haven't done anything with my Phoenix Diablos team in league 1 for a long time. Is that league dead?
