What are theses teams doing lol

smithandrew051 03-16-2024 04:41 PM

2 shit QBs for Pittsburgh should be better than the shit QBs they had last year

Bowser 03-16-2024 04:42 PM

Whoa

smithandrew051 03-16-2024 04:42 PM

6th round pick that could be elevated as high as a 4th round pick

Good for Chicago.

Made some nice acquisitions and aren’t lying to themselves about Fields.

The Fields coping online is something else.

Sassy Squatch 03-16-2024 04:46 PM

LMAO Jesus Christ. That's going to be a major shit show, especially if Tomlin defaults to Wilson as the starter.

Red Dawg 03-16-2024 04:50 PM

If Fields can't beat out Wilson then he's a total bust. Pitt has one year to decide on Fields. He's gotta play right?

No? Why would he have to unless Russ is terrible or injured?

IowaHawkeyeChief 03-16-2024 04:51 PM

Not a bad deal for the Steelers. Traded Pickett for some picks and then traded for for a 6th. Field is an upgrade over Pickett and is also cheap for a backup.

It’s a season long QB controversy/circus waiting to happen.

RunKC 03-16-2024 05:06 PM

Is it just me or are trades not getting the value they used to this year?

Fields was said to “probably” fetch a 3rd. He didn’t.
Burns was rumored to fetch a 1st. He didn’t.

Now Sneed might not be had for a 2nd. Kinda weird

Unique circumstances in both the Fields and Burns situations… not sure if it’s a pattern.

It goes in cycles but the general rule is teams in a SB window or contenders can justify giving up draft capital more than teams trying to build something from the ground up.

That means it is cheaper to acquire good players via trade right now.

That should mean Veach is looking to see who WE can rip off as we are obviously a SB contender.

It's hialrious watching you bitch non-stop about Veach should do, while he's busy winning SBs.

What trade out there specifically is he not making?

You really are reading shit that's not there.

All I said was if teams are valuing draft picks more than players, that's an opportunity for us.

I bet Detroit is regretting that Carlton Davis trade. It looked okay at the time, but now in context they got fleeced.

You've already made it clear how you would feel about the potential comp for Sneed, so it sounded like you were saying Veach should be the one doing the ****ing, not getting ****ed.

Maybe I read it wrong, but that's the issue with always being passive agressive.

Given where they are in their rookie deals, I wouldn’t say it’s upgrade. It’s just…what it is.

My point was simply if the cycle really was overvaluing draft picks vs players, that's an opportunity for us.

Sassy Squatch 03-16-2024 05:45 PM

Wilson seems like he'd have to absolutely bomb for Fields to take over. Apparently they're already discussing signing a contract next off season for Wilson.

Not really because teams are leery of trading with Veach. Plus KC’s 28-32 picks in each round doesn’t carry the same weight as other teams. Plus KCs history makes it clear that they won’t be drafting high any time soon.

Before somebody comes along and acts like this is just a narrative, we just witnessed this with the Steelers and Diontae Johnson.

"They didn't want to trade him inside the conference!"

Bullshit. They would've traded him to the ****ing Pats, or any garbage AFC team, as long as they offered more.

Man the Bills. They make trades that work out alright, but blow up bad on them.

Did alright trading with the Chiefs. Still got a nice corner and their franchise QB…but allowed the Chiefs to get Mahomes.

Diggs was a really nice player for them…but gave up a ton and could’ve just taken Justin Jefferson.

Even when the Bills win, they lose. It’s incredible.

The Bills are basically like watching Al Bundy.

Every time something went his way, you could just wait for it to be taken away from him somehow.

If the Bills ever win a Super Bowl, I’ll assume the apocalypse is soon to follow.

It is kinda incredible to think we could trade Sneed, still have a Super Bowl caliber roster, and be top 10 in cap space

RunKC 03-16-2024 08:12 PM

So it’s confirmed that Fields is a massive draft bust who was never starter material. The same with Trubisky.

And Nagy went 34-31 with those absolute frauds. And reeruns here act like that man is Nathaniel Hackett LMAO

Hoover 03-16-2024 08:22 PM

Yeah I thought Nagy did all he could. The Mistake was not just sticking with Mitch IMO. When they brought it Foles it kinda became a shit show.

Having cap space now isn’t like having cap space to start the league year. All it’s going to do is make managing the roster easier and maybe allow us to extend either Creed or Bolton which is necessary but not sexy

1) Just no. Wilson is not even in the round 2 conversation unless 8 receivers go in the first two rounds.
2) He might be an Andy Reid fit, sorta. But should be 10 or so receivers ahead of him on our board.
3) Very few moves would make me lose faith in Veach and his scouting department. This would do it.

Roman Wilson looked great at the Senior Bowl and I was kind of intrigued with him. He had some epic battles with Quinyon Mitchell.

Started watching game video from his time at Michigan and he just looked so incredibly small to me. He's listed at 6' 190, so it's weird how small he seems when I watch him because that's obviously not bad size.

I would throw up in my mouth if we drafted him at all, but especially anywhere within the first 100 picks.

After watching everything, and almost every receiver coming out, Roman Wilson may be the most overrated, and overhyped WR in the draft.

He screams Demarcus Robinson to me.

Chiefs should definitely draft a couple WR in draft!
