The most encouraging thing about Soler is the plate discipline. That’s a skill that stabilizes early and tends to hold up.

He may not hit much more than .270 over the course of the year, but .270/.370/.500 plays quite nicely.

The same contract they offered Greg Holland to come back, who turned it down at the advice of his agent, Boras. (whoops!)

3/52 I heard. Pretty amazing deal for such a dead offseason. Boras was a world class dumbass if he advised Holland to turn that down.
