Colts and Pittman agree to a 3 year extension. 71.5 million

He had 800 plus yards in each of his first two years with Big Ben. The next two he played with Mason Rudolph, run first Justin Fields and Trevor Simien. What was he supposed to do with them QB's?

We might get him, we might not. But these are the cheap, undervalued guys Veach loves imo.

LMAO Jesus Christ, Eagles just paid Dickerson 4 years 84 million

Well, something tells me this is Trey Smith's last year here if guards are getting paid that much now.

If he goes they'll definitely be taking Brian Thomas or Adonai Mitchell in the first then.

I sure hope so.

That's an expensive way to keep the tush push in the game plan. And that's not even taking into account Jason Kelce isn't there to anchor it.

He's good, but he's not Thuney 20+ mil/year good.

Interior OL is a low key need for the Chiefs in the draft. They aren't going to pay Smith and Creed H

EXACTLY. The last WR's we got who had 800 plus yards multiple times before coming to KC was who? SAMMY WATKINS and JUJU. Claypool is younger and cheaper than both of those guys were when we got them. Too many folks love to look at the surface without taking a look at things in finer details. Put Claypool with Pat and I'd be extremely confident he does better than MVS, Watson, Moore and Toney. No doubts whatsoever.

Yes. Yes he was. And now is about to sign a long term deal. Glad to bring you up to speed

The risk is what we saw last year. Thinking reclamation project receivers would be a big part of the offense but once they fail the offense stalls.

The difference is Claypool has proven himself. Toney, Moore etc haven't.

Oh I definitely don't want to bet it all on Claypool. We need to either have a solid FA add, or a high draft pick spent. Signing somebody like Claypool would need to be in addition to that.

Good observation.

Appreciate it. Went back and watched his two years playing with Big Ben and it was eye opening. Kid had everything and was winning at all three levels plus doing sweeps and Jet plays. We'd have nothing to lose taking a chance on him imo.

wazu 03-11-2024 09:55 AM

We are losing the following WRs this year unless they come back on a new FA contract:

Mecole Hardman
Justin Watson
MVS
Richie James

Claypool has played at a higher level than any of those four. We have room.
