You are still batting a .199 hitter leade off who continues to take horrible AB’s. Refuse to move him down in the lineup. You keep Bader on the bench because you need the offense? What offense?

This is turning into a Matheny “we have to trust our guys” team. We have better relievers in the minors but they are still not called up? Is that a Mo or trusting our guys issue?

They need to do something different. Anything. Don’t just keep doing the same thing over and over and expect a different result.

And Gomber is pitching great in AAA. Ponce is 3-1 with a 3.03 era yet no call up
