I just need to get the boost to it. |

I mean my truck is literally sitting in the shop with three 1200 plus hp cars.. it's not that hard with a forged ls with a big ass turbo.
I also did a thing. <iframe width="854" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/KJGly9pEU4c" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe> |

My truck is sitting in the shop with two twin turbo cars, an LSX block car, and an aluminum 6.0 stock cubes/block car, both over 1500whp (thats as high as the dyno goes), and a procharged 1200 HP camaro that took 1st place in competition stock class at world of wheels in KC two weeks ago. Both the twin turbo cars have been 8s, and the procharged car 9s. All 3 are street cars, and yes, they are big turbo cars with forged motors and all the trimmings, including meth and the like. If I wanted too, I could have my TA pushing that kind of power with the snap of my fingers. All I was getting at is that anyone with some cash can put an LS above 1000 and its not very hard, all it takes is boost, and of course, the shit that makes boost work. Its an oversimplification, but big boy boosted LS = 1000+hp and its easy enough that there are thousands and thousands of them running around. Most of them built in some jack offs garage. |

I gave up on GM's long ago, been as Mopar fan since the 70's and before.
I build or used to build Datsun Z motors, hardly ever jacked with building much GM stock. I did build 4 Ford 300's 6's that would reach out and bite you. All my buddy's did was small blocks, I built light cars with bad ass engines that would beat them at anything but the 1/4, and I could smoke the cops in their interceptors. SO I can't talk shop with crate motors an bolt on blowers but I do own a 3.2l that puts 450HP to the ground. Quote:

Got this truck out today with just a basic tune and holy **** this sucker is dangerous LOL
Heads/cam/Long tubes will do wonders with a 5.3, combined with damp weather, skinny all season tires, and the g80 locker, makes for a squirrely AF truck. Already thinking ill need to go detroit locker sooner rather than later, and really need to find some 20s and run a taller, sticky tire for summer. |

Made 320hp/366tq on the Mustang dyno. my TA made 400/586 on the same dyno but through a 4l80e and a 9 inch, this truck is a 4l60e and an 8.5" 10 bolt, so much less parastic power loss on the truck. Not bad numbers on this super stingy dyno for a lil ol cam only 5.3~ |

Pinstripe is still there because we found it its been cleared over.
No burnouts yet, these tires are about 400 bucks a pop lol I have the entire front end off and in my makeshift paint booth in the garage right now. I'm color matching grill and bumpers over the next couple days |

with your taste in wheels you need the extra cash~ |

And find some Dupont super performance pack (2 part hardener) or equivalent. Repainting that the second time is a bitch, real bitch. If you could get it electrostatic... probably not... |

The top and bottom parts of the bumper are textured plastic, I scuffed around on those and took the little scratches out and painted them. The front grille is also plastic/chrome, and my ready to paint replacement will be here tomorrow. It doesn't have to be spectacular, its a bumper, i'm painting black plastic with Bullydog adhesive promoter, SEM flex primer, and then Duplicolor black and clear from a can. Only about 75% of the metal bumper can be seen once the plastic is on, and that's the part i concentrated hardest on lol. The textured bumpers hide any imperfections from the paint, and both the metal bumper and the grille are going to be cleared, sanded, then cleared again before a final wet sanding/polish. |
They make 2k in a can, no flex additive that I know of but it can be custom blended. Worth looking into.
Spraymax, Endura, I know there are places that custom mix so they should be able to add flex additive. http://www.apstowerpaint.com/index.php Quote:

Looked at the metal bumper this morning and it looks good as is, will look really good after wet sand and polish. |

I’d wrap the bumper in vinyl before you go through all that. |

I actually have gloss black vinyl in the garage left over from wrapping my Focus a while back I could have used, but I know from using it that it doesn't stand up really well to the expected rocks etc that will hit the bumper. I think I WILL end up using it on my T/A sail panel when I get around to it.
I have extensive plastidip experience, but you just cant get the right color match/gloss look im going for even if you use glossifier. That being said, the bumpers are painted and ready to rock, polish is the only thing left and to put them back on. They already look good so I think it'll turn out just fine once polished. |

Put er together after work today. I think it turned out pretty good~ Not perfect, but pretty good.
https://i.imgur.com/SYnjPIk.jpg https://i.imgur.com/WX5VbQp.jpg https://i.imgur.com/QB1JDWw.jpg I also threw a new Pioneer stereo at it since the kenwood that was in it didnt have blueooth I went out and washed the truck and went through the drive through tonight, and got complimented 3 times on the truck. I have noticed that I've had more people saying something, breaking necks, and eye****ing this truck than ever did my my T/A. So.. the truck is 'done'.. besides replacing the airbags and putting on the hideahitch.. what tf should I do now? |
Drive it man.

Forgot to post this. We had a couple of minor fixes, took it off the dyno, handled it. Brought it back a week later. At the wheels, 636HP 602TQ @ 12PSI, on 91 Octane pump gas. Keep in mind that that this was a 2,600lb car from the factory...now it's gutted. Customer brought it back, dialed it back a notch because it would get squirrly around 30% throttle in pretty much every gear. Our tuners detuned it, now we're making it street legal (just adding glass, seatbelts, hood) and the customer will go beat on it again before he brings it back to be turned into an actual car. |
I am also now a dealer for Black Widow Exhaust. If you haven't heard their mufflers, google it. The videos don't do them justice, these mufflers sound mean. I'm excited to be dealing their stuff now.

How much for the muffler in the pic?

Ive got an 86 short bed with a big block. The exhaust is tucked up under the bed tight and then angles down right in front of the rear pan. It sounds great but will rattle your ****ing brain lol. Thinking of changing the mufflers. Will you ship em? I'd rather just buy from you if we can pull it off. |
