Fisher is a plug and play RT with great attributes. He's young and will only get better. IMO, he goes somewhere between 55 and 75 - so he's great value here close to pick 100. WR was my backup position. I probably would have taken Tez too if you hadn't, so agree with your rankings! |

sorry guys, my kids were in a play today.
The rams are looking at their big board and are making a decision to go all in on penn state defense apparently. The LA Rams select, Johnny Dixon, CB, Penn state. |
(Hail to the Chief music.)
Everyone immediately recognizes former President Grover Cleveland as he steps to the podium. https://ids.si.edu/ids/deliveryServi...a/8000048c.jpg "You'll see why I was selected for this pick soon enough," he says. "For now, I'll just say that the Mugwumps and I are steadfastly opposed to corruption and cronyism, and therefore we will select the best man for the job. "The Washington Commanders select Caelen Carson, CB, Wake Forest." As a side note, Grover actually executed two men by hanging during his early career as a sheriff. I did not know that. |
Using the newfangled device known as the telephone, President Cleveland rings up Carolina and lets them know that they're on the clock.

The Carolina Panthers select Brenden Rice, WR, USC
|
Hail to the Chief plays again, and who walks out?
It's Grover Cleveland again! He looks over the crowd. https://www.americanhunter.org/media...hunts_lead.jpg "Are you surprised that I took a turn off and then returned?," he asks the crowd. "If you know history, you should have expected me." He takes a quick moment to slap down a Tammany Hall politician who is asking for a favor, and then unfolds a small piece of paper. "The Washington Commanders select Cade Stover, TE, Ohio State." Someone steps forward and whispers in his ear. He corrects himself. "I meant 'The Ohio State University', of course." |
Grover gets back on the phone to order the New England football club to make their pick.

Looks like I'll have a busy fourth round.

The New England Patriots select: Tyler Davis, DT, Clemson.
|
The Arizona Cardinals select Blake Corum, RB, Michigan
Harrison Jr, Pearsall, and Corum give the Cardinals and Kyler Murray 3 exciting new weapons. I'm so sick of the Cardinals trotting out James Conner every single year as their starting RB. |
The Los Angeles Chargers select Johnny Wilson, WR, Florida State.
I started this before they traded Keenan Allen, I believe, so we're fairly far off-track of what I think they do. But IF the Chargers stick with the idea of drafting OT early and re-emphasizing the running game, I think the 2nd and 4th are the rounds where they could be looking at WRs. In this case, I couldn't pass up Harbaugh reinforcing his interior DL with a familiar face. So I circle back to WR in round 4. Wilson is huge and fast, and could give the Chargers and Herbert the type of exterior play-action matchup problem they have used well in the past with Mike Williams. |
Tennessee Titans Select MarShawn Lloyd, RB, USC
|
Can someone message Couch Potato for me I'm mobile
|
If anyone has figured out how to search the forum on a mac please let me know. This format is becoming extremely tedious already in the 3rd. Maybe in the future theres a mock draft sim we could use to knock this out in a more reasonable amount of time?

Giants take Jordan Jefferson DT LSU

The Vikings Select Cole Bishop, Safety, Utah

Worst case, you can copy the OP into a Word docu every round and do a 'find' in Word. That's fast and easy to do. |

The draft usually hits a lull although it's never this bad.
People are just busy, but we still have to keep this thing moving. Gotta make better use of PMing picks ahead of time. |
O.city has like an hour or so left on the clock, but yea, we need to pick things up a bit.
|
**** it.
The Atlanta Falcons select DeWayne Carter, DT, Duke |
SNR sent me his pick:
The Chicago Bears select Gabriel Murphy, EDGE, UCLA |
Thanks dudes! I'm stoked to be a part of the draft this year, my NYG and DET fan friends are highly interested in the outcome, but I underestimated the affect of adding more deadline to my schedule would have on me lol
|
Wait, he made his pick last night at 10, I logged on at 10 this morning and I'm already passed up?

You are more that welcome to change your pick though bc crow hasn't picked yet. |
Robert Saleh is visibly pissed off mumbling "you don't need a Bishop to win at chess" or something to that effect.
So, GM crow leans back and says "**** your defense" and calls it in... The New York Football Jets select Ben Sinnott, TE, Kansas State |
I'll let this one ride. It better not happen again.
|
That crept up fast, gimme a few hours, got parent stuff I need to do, sorry
|
Raiders select - Marist Liufau, LB, Notre Dame
I obviously ignored the parent stuff. |

We'll make Robert calm down now...

If it gets to me, I might not be able to make my back to back picks until ~10pm CT and am not equipped to share options currently. I will get my pick in tonight if it reaches me. Apologies in advance if I'm a mini stall.
If it doesn't reach me today, I'll leave Staylor with my picks for tomorrow before signing off for the night. |
Galileo steps out onto the stage and peers through a prop telescope.
https://c02.purpledshub.com/uploads/...g?w=940&webp=1 "You have to scour the night sky to find good prospects in the fourth round," he says, "but we have found a bright star in the making. "The Cincinnati Bengals select Cam Hart, CB, Notre Dame." "And now let me tell you about beri beri. You may think of beriberi as a tropical disease, probably spread by mosquitos in swamps and causing fevers and such things. But it's not. It's actually a condition caused by a shortage of thiamine in the body. It occurs more often in tropical climates because people in Southeast Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa often have diets that lack thiamine for various reasons. Consult the following symptom diagram if you think you may have beriberi. https://continentalhospitals.com/upl...1165090686.jpg Dry beriberi attacks the muscles, while wet beriberi attacks the cardiovascular system. Dry beriberi can also spread to the brain. The cure for beriberi? Eat something with thiamin in it, and you'll usually be better within 24 hours. |
Galileo drops two draft prospects from the Leaning Tower of Pisa, successfully proving that a running back drops faster than an edge rusher even if they are of equal weight. Then he sends a messenger to the Jaguars to make their pick.
|
The Jacksonville Jaguars select Leonard Taylor, DT, Miami
|
The Indianapolis Colts select Beau Brade, S, Maryland
|
Seattle Seahawks select Matt Goncalves Guard, Pittsburgh.
|
Damn… thought I was going to be safe on that one Mecca! Goncalves was the pick I sent Staylor. Nice selection.
The Pittsburgh Steelers select Christian Jones, OT, Texas Jones is an older player, but has 4 years of starting experience as a swing tackle on a talented Texas team. He’s a powerful run blocker and ample in pass protection. He gives the Steelers quality depth at a position where they’ve been thin for years, with the hope of possibly emerging as a starter on the right side in time allowing them to shift Broderick Jones to LT (their intent when they drafted him). Pm sent to Crow. |
Howie Roseman looks over his draft board, then looks over his needs, then looks back at his draft board... "How the **** is this guy on the board" pops into his head. Screw needs...
The Philadelphia Eagles select Michael Hall, DT, Ohio St. |
Sorry for the slow pick.
The Broncos select Jamari Thrash, WR, Louisville |
Chicago needs midgets.
Chicago selects Malik Washington, WR, Virginia |
Houston Selects Tahj Washington, WR, USC
|
The 49ers select Javon Foster, OT, Missouri.
|
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Beaux Limmer, C, Arkansas
|
Awesome. Was hoping this guy would still be there in the 4th.
Green Bay selects Fabien Lovett Sr., DT, Florida State |
Texans select Javion Cohen, OG, Miami
|
The Buffalo Bills select, Tykee Smith, S, Georgia.
|
The Minnesota Vikings select Trevor Keegan, IOL, Michigan
|
Baltimore Ravens select Javon Solomon, DE, Troy
|
The Kansas City Chiefs select Andru Phillips, CB, Kentucky
|
The San Francisco 49ers select Tip Reimann, TE, Illinois
The 49ers are stoked to add a strong blocking TE from the B1G who also has seam-stretching speed. |

The Bills select, Hunter Nourzad, C, Penn State.

We'd have to go get that! |
Sorry for the delay guys, didn't get a notification.
The New York Jets select Michael Pratt, QB, Tulane |
We're not gonna get this thing done, are we?

I'm putting the 5th round up tonight. I promise. |
The San Francisco 49ers select Trevin Wallace, LB, Kentucky.
|
123 picks left and 26 days until the draft. Need to average about 5 picks per day to "make it." Think that's about our current pace - should be doable.
|
For efficiency purposes: I'm happy to move up in the draft order and make my remaining Steelers selections right now!
|
This feels like one of the drafts that stalls and then we knock out a round in a day or 2 and finish well before the draft.
|
The Broncos Select Xavier Thomas, DE, Clemson
|
and we were just saying how we need to go quicker
|
I enjoy watching this but damn next year the rules committee needs to adopt if you haven't made your selection in 12hrs the next team can leap frog you. You can turn in your selection when you get around to it. Just like the NFL.
