The guy I feel sorry for most is Mike Brown. The Lakers are playing better defense since he came to town, but there's just a whoooole lot of sucking going on right now. Brown's not that adept of a coach in terms of coaching up young guys (at least he failed pretty hard at it when he was in Cleveland). That being said, he's actually a decent coach, but he looks really bad right now.

Yeah, its like why doesnt kobe pass. When he does, they dont hit shots, Fisher is shooting like 15 percent from 3. Kapono is like 24, Matt Barnes about the same. MWP is shooting like 12 percent. Thats really really really really bad. Just makes me shake my damed head.

Its like if Kobe just doesnt go into God Mode, they stand no chance. lol Blake cant come back fast enough, but at this point, i wouldnt mind if they traded Gasol for a point guard who has some athletic ability and can half assed shoot. Lakers have Fisher 37, and 2 2nd round rookies that had 1 week of training camp. its bad right now. lol

Chiefs Pantalones 01-23-2012 07:50 PM

maybe the celtics can trade Garnett back to the Wolves for Love :D

I'm not sure he'd fit in with Rondo and a bunch of geezers.

And actually, I'm beginning to question that site's report. I've looked all over for more reports of that interview and I haven't found anything. Not even on local Minnesota sports talk radio. And they would definitely be talking about this right now, because Rubio fever has infected Minneapolis something fierce

Some good games tonight, Pacers up by 4 with 13 seconds left over the Bulls

This game proves why Rose STILL needs more help. Geez trade please?!

RealSNR 01-25-2012 10:21 PM

I'm still concerned about the opt-out clause after Love's 3rd year in the new extension. The Wolves are young, but you're already seeing signs of some of their young talent not working out as planned. Wes Johnson's been pretty bad this season. Adelman really wants him to assert his hold on the starting 3 spot with Beasley out with an injury, and Wes can't seem to do it.

Derrick Williams is going to take over that spot next year anyway. It just would have been nice if Wes could have been a quality bench player, where he would be able to do all the things Derrick could do while Derrick got rest.

I don't know what the Bulls' front office is thinking. There's no way we beat the Heat without another star player. Rose needs help bad.

The Bulls should try and move on one of the Celtics big three. Allen or Pierce.

Deng has played like a star this season but he's out. Huge missing piece for Bulls.

L.A. Chieffan 01-29-2012 04:46 PM

Rose is just silly

DaKCMan AP 01-29-2012 05:06 PM

LOL @ Rose. Choker.

tk13 01-29-2012 05:07 PM

Rose might have just saved LeBron. If he makes those FT's and the Bulls win everyone would go back to LeBron's failures there in the last two minutes.

tk13 01-29-2012 05:07 PM

Or not.

O.city 01-29-2012 05:08 PM

Well Lebron made up for it.

I hope the playoff matchup between these two teams isn't as shitty as this was.

O.city 01-29-2012 05:14 PM

The last 2 minutes was both teams trying to choke it away. Chicago just did a better job.

tk13 01-29-2012 05:14 PM

Two great teams... but the last two minutes of this game was really nothing more than a bunch of sloppy basketball.

I think Miami is more on the great side than we are. Until we get more help we'll get beat by them every time in the playoffs.

You've got to be joking. If it weren't for LePippen stinking up the 4th quarters of the finals last year the Heat would be champs. That's chokage on a whole other level man.

I'm not saying Rose didn't or hasn't choked but nothing will surpass James' fail job last year. That was epic stuff

KC_Connection 01-29-2012 07:24 PM

Rose choking from the line is the reason that KU even has the championship in your avatar. Pretty sure he's the bigger choker.

That's total bullshit. Rose hasn't been in the NBA long enough to choke as much or on the level of LePippen. Nothing beats the finals last year. What a mess.

Rose choking led to KU's national title. That's not total bullshit, that's what happened.

His choking also led to LeBron and the Heat even being able to play in the NBA finals last year.

I'm talking about the NBA. Rose hasn't been in the league long enough to choke as much as James and he will never live the finals down until he wins a title.

Kind of funny that Chalmers knocked his down while Rose and LeBron pissed down their legs. Missing a last second shot is one thing, but missing free throws with the game on the line is flat out choke on both parts. LeBron has done it twice this year. He's a great player but a choke is a choke.

Actually, Douglas Roberts was the choker in that game. Rose had the last two free throws, the first was all but in and then he made the second. He was the best player in that game, and was the primary reason Memphis was in position to win. Hardly a choke job, you're going with revisionist history.

Surprised Rose missed his, but they said he'd been 28-28 in the fourth quarter this season from the line. I'd say that's pretty solid when it matters.

The Bulls are like in NBA purgatory. They need to get Rose help to have a shot at getting past the Heat but they don't want to give up anyone. What a tough situation. Now there's word that Howard wants to come to Chicago. They need to make a move though. Or get beat again.

Yup, as good as they are in the regular season when it comes down to it in the playoffs there is just no way they get by the heat as is.

O.city 01-31-2012 12:00 AM

It's crazy. I love our team but they gotta give up somebody good to get somebody good. It's not like we can get a star player for a bag of chips. Have to say goodbye to somebody.

That's the thing, they are stuck. They really have no idea what they want to do. Howard would be nice that would put our awesome defense on a level that you'd only see on a video game on easy mode.

Urc Burry 01-31-2012 12:07 AM

I would guess that it would take at least Noah and Boozer. But a lineup of Rose/Rip/Deng/Gibson/Howard would be lethal

Well it's probably that or give up Deng with one of them, but there is no way I do that. I personally think Noah is starting to get overrated

KevB 01-31-2012 12:21 AM

I think you're looking at Deng/Noah/Asik or Gibson and a draft pick.

Would leave Chicago with Rose/Rip/Brewer/Boozer/Howard. Watson, Korver and Gibson on the bench. Still a ton of pressure on Rose on the offensive end, especially at the end of the game. Without Deng, the last three minutes would become even more difficult offensively.

I just don't see the Bulls gutting their chemistry and depth that way. I'd probably do it, but I don't think they would.

I don't know, the Mavs can still cause some damage even with their neutered roster. Sucks for them that they lost Chandler and the hobbit though. But don't count out the defending champs until they're eliminated.

I honestly like Delonte West a lot more than Barea.

Chandler was awesome but if Odom rounds into shape I think we will be fine, especially with the way Haywood and Mahini have played.

Haywood has played well. Dirk is still one of the best in the game so they are still to be reckoned with. And aren't you guys one of the Howard suitors? Cuban doesn't strike me as the type of owner to let his team go down easy after a title run. Dude is super competitive.
