Good

Just an absolutely ridiculous amount of scratch for a guy at this stage of his career, damn glad to not be a Bucs fan right now
|
ya that's way too much money for a 30 year old. He'll probably still put up 1K yards though
|
The Bucs have to spend the money somewhere. They aren’t going to pay much (relatively speaking) for their QB. This deal is pretty good for both parties.
|
Mahomes and Reid just won two SBs with Jack and Shit playing receiver. We were never EVER paying in excess of $20 M per for a 30+ year old receiver. Keep drafting young receivers. Draft your next superstar on a rookie contract.
Use that money and figure out how to extend both Jones and Sneed. |
He would have signed yesterday. But every time he picked up the pen someone said playoffs. Then he dropped the pen, again
|
Shame

We overpay at the critical position. Elite franchise QB. |

Chiefs won't pay a 2 year deal for 25M per for only two years but pay a slightly above average RIGHT tackle 80M for 4 years.
No two year deal can really be that bad. Especially for Evans. Randy Moss did quite well in those two seasons at the same age. At least this means we must be resigning Jones. |

Lol, just no, that's just not accurate. In the three seasons when Baker's been healthy and with a decent OC, Baker's TD/INT ratio is nearly 3:1. In the three seasons he didn't have a decent OC or wasn't healthy (2019/Kitchens, 2021/injured his labrum, fractured shoulder blade, high ankle sprain, 2022/CAR) he's been no worse than 1:1. No, with a decent OC and his health, Baker is at worst a 2.5:1 QB. |
Baker is a loser that will never win anyone shit. His arm is weak as shit and if wasn't for Evans he would have lost the division. Their 9-8 record is crap.
