Someone posted video clips of all his snap in the preseason last year and there wasn't much to see either way.

Why do we think he never saw the field last year even with the mess at the QB position?

He didn't see the field because there were no minicamps, no OTA's and no playbooks until training camp opened. He was a FIFTH ROUND draft choice, not fifth overall.

Personally, I think it was absolutely the right thing to do. IF he has any talent and can be groomed into a successful NFL QB, throwing him into the fire with all that mess would have likely stunted his potential, if not killed it altogether.

Agreed. That "we" was meant to represent the CP hive mind.

I think the Stanzi hype around here is silly as hell. That said, I'm rooting for the kid to kick ass. He's a Chief, after all.

My thoughts exactly. But he couldn't beat out Tyler Palko for playing time last season. I don't care how badly Haley snapped- if Stanzi was something amazing he would have seen the field last year.

You know, there's nothing wrong with the Chiefs having a solid career backup that can step in and win a game or two when needed, so I'd welcome that.

The problem is, of course, that he'd need someone worth a queef to backup.
