Oh, I agree, I'm just saying that's what I'd be good with in terms of a deal for Poe.

I sure as hell wouldn't pay Logan $8 million again.

No, wouldn't pay Logan 8 mil.

I don't think he'd be a bad option but 8 mil per? Nah. No thanks.

Could Poe make a return?

Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff admitted the team likely won't be able to re-sign impending free agent DT Dontari Poe.

Signed to a one-year deal last offseason, Poe proved to be a bargain signing for the Falcons. He didn't miss a game and played stout run defense on the inside while also providing a three-year best 2.5 sacks. Poe is 28 and expects to land a multi-year deal this time around after failing to do so in 2017.

As a football move, probably not a good idea. I would still love to have him back because his touchdown pass on Christmas was the best play I've ever seen live as a Chiefs fan.

Some chatter that Vic Beasley may not be in the Falcons long term plans. I'd flip them next years 2nd for him.

What? They picked up his 5th year option

Apparently they are moving him to a 4-3 DE this year? If they want to deal him, I’d give a 2.

Just something I saw on twitter. No clue on the validity of it.

I don't know about him at 34 OLB though.

That a huge price to pay for a guy that would need to be extended with a huge contract as well.

I'd rather draft a guy early next year but that's only if Tanoh doesn't work out.

I’m with you. No to Poe.

Yeah, I'm not big on guys with motivational issues but I'm much rather pay a guy that just needs motivating than a guy that has a bad back.

True.

But if it worked out you'd have Houston coming off a deal at the same time. I'd probably not do it but it's an idea.

I’d take honey badger ALL DAY. Especially after losing Peters. The guy is a turnover machine.
