A lot of people don't have money for sporting events and if they do they don't have it for all of them and frankly most people will pick the Chiefs over the Royals.

Weather hasn't been great (other than a few home games), school is still in session, people are pissed at Sherman, etc.

I think numbers will start to rise in May if the team is still playing average to above-average ball.

As long as we got a AAA team I wouldn't even be that upset if we lost the Royals. Baseball isn't about winning. Its about having somewhere to go to eat hot dogs and drink blvd in the summer. Nobody really even watches the game anyway.
