CaliforniaChief 11-13-2017 12:51 PM

Yikes! I had no idea how serious that was for Ned.

I fractured my pelvis in 3 places once. I pretty much laid in one place for 6 weeks and tried not to sneeze. I was 20, couldn't imagine it as an old man.

Have a lot more fun with the sponge baths at his age.

Just heard an interview with Ned on 810. Thoughts and prayers to him and his family. He's in agony right now but expected to recover. Next few months are going to be miserable for him. :(

Glad Ned is ok, scary stuff

Yeah. Pelvises suck. There isn't a damn thing you do that doesn't involve that.

Archie F. Swin 11-14-2017 05:28 AM

How quickly can Ned possibly recover from such a dramatic injury?

cabletech94 11-14-2017 09:16 AM

Listening to Ned on 610 right now. Had he not had his cell phone, he’d have bleed out. 7 to 8 units of blood used. Dr said he crashed on the table. 0nly 20 to 30 percent of accident like this survive.
He sounds fine and will manage. Although 2 months in a wheelchair before even crutches.

This dude......

Sure-Oz 11-14-2017 11:02 AM

Tough sob.

CaliforniaChief 11-14-2017 11:56 AM

I'm just glad he didn't call Soria, because he's not too good at stopping the bleeding.

Can we please lock this thread for, oh I don't know the next seven years?
