Damn, Drew didn’t even do that for Tyreek.

They must have some solid evidence that he’s innocent.

3% agent's fee on a $9M guarantee is $270K.

I'm sure this is on here somewhere already, but I'm not gonna go digging for it. For anybody who hasn't seen it, here's the suit:

Well, Tyreek was still on his rookie deal.

Tyreek was never formally accused of anything so it wouldn't have made sense for him to do that.

Tyreek has text messages saying she was lying

AB has text messages admitting that he nutted on her back

I would guess some combination of Tyreek and the Chiefs kept Drew quiet throughout. That was probably for the best.

This is a key point so far.

He has admitted that part of her story is true. He’s going to have to make the claim that everything was consensual. That’s his defense.

Her claim is that it wasn’t. I would guess that the remainder of the text messages will tell a lot more of the story.

I guess she preserved the texts.

I am not saying what happened, but exploring the possibilities of what facts may come to light given what is already established.

But it seems plausible that Brown asserted a right/privilege to impose his sexual impulses on the accuser, which he then defended after the fact with a blend of 'you didn't stop me' and 'I'm sorry, I'll make it up to you with xxx, yyy, zzz.'

More like a Harvey Weinstein scenario where he isolates her as a sex target by maneuvering his power and resources as an enticement [of sorts] then performs his sexual gratification before an opportunity for refusal or consent arises.

These are not easy transgressions to litigate, and a lot of tangential matters become nearly dispositive when the particulars are so murky.

Yes, chances are he handled the relationship in a way that he could get in trouble with the league if she is credible.

Not sure how a court case would go. But, airing it out would be a mess.

On the flipside, when you're holding the nuts, sometimes its smart to not bet too strong and push guys out of the pot. You slow play it because you know that you're safe either way.

But when you're sitting on a high pair, you may/may not like your odds, you may bet a little harder earlier to try to push some guys out and maybe keep them from staying in the hand and hitting on a straight draw or something.

You may be right, he may be confident. But with the Hill thing - he HAD to be confident - based on the facts as they emerged and as he and Hill surely knew at the time, there was no reason for him not to be. And he was quiet.

Might this bluster suggest the opposite?

Cause like I said when that whole thing was going down, Chrystal was working with them and she was being uncoorparative with the league and she told CPS tyreek didn't break their sons arm. So Drew didn't have to do much. In this case the girl is actively taking him to court and is going to meet with the NFL so Drew has to get involved.
