Matheny actually managing, I’m shocked. Suuprised he didn’t take Holland out with the score5-5.

Once again, however, he double switched his #3 hitter out, and then the game got uncomfortably close. Matheny gonna Matheny.

Remember all those times Larussa double switched out Pujols?

Yea me either.

Was Holland that fat as a Royal? I don't remember him looking that much like a beer league softball player.

I trash Matheny as much as anyone in here but the reason it was uncomfortably close, for this game anyway, was all on Holland.

Holland needs to go to the minors and get right.

Which begs the question who had him added to the 25 man so early?

Jewish Rabbi 04-18-2018 09:33 AM

Reports say O’Neill recalled tomorrow for a reliever to be named.

Are there Players association rules that you can only keep a veteran player in the minors "X" number of days after a signing?

The article today says the Cards need Hollands permission to send him to the minors.

From just a selfish perspective, Holland should want this. He thought he was going to get a big payday. As of right now, he's not even going to get an average contract next year. He needs to go down and get right for just his own benefit.

I believe he could have stayed down longer after his initial signing, but isn’t able to go down now unless it’s a rehab assignment.

I think you are right, I heard he had negotiated that before signing.

MLB app reporting Tyler O'Neill being called up for tomorrow's game.

'Hamas' Jenkins 04-18-2018 10:32 AM

Put him on the DL with a bullshit injury, and he can rehab up to 30 days in the minors.

VAChief 04-18-2018 10:41 AM

Looks like tomorrow morning they will announce for sure.
