I think he's figuring his shit out now. Just took him a bit with a real coaching staff. I'm shocked he's making it work with ****ing Christian Kirk and Zay Jones.

Is he still going to be otherworldly amazing? Probably not. But he might have a nice little Derek Carr-type career. Maybe even with more winning, though that remains to be seen.

I think he’s poised to take a big jump next year if they get him a legit #1 next year. Quentin Johnston of TCU?

Saw this on r/nfl and thought it was interesting. Ravens got a problem on their hands.

It appears that they do if that is accurate. More interested in the off-season to see if they let him walk or pay him a massive contract.

To even think this topic was once something people believed in...

Now it's been replaced with Joe Burrow.

Slacker?

WOOF.

Soooo, if that's true that's a pretty damning statement. I also would be surprised. It seems like he's worked on his game a fair bit. I'd be surprised if he's a bum. If he is a bum, it makes what he's accomplished even more impressive.

Sassy Squatch 01-05-2023 04:54 PM

Just fwiw, most Ravens fans think the Mike Preston sourced stuff is absolute bullshit. The other stuff is probably accurate though

RealSNR 01-05-2023 06:23 PM

Slacker?

Not quite as funny as Kyler Murray video game jokes. I'll probably stick with my RB jokes when it comes to Lamar Jackson.

Biggest game between the two yet

FloridaMan88 01-21-2024 11:49 PM

Lamar’s only win vs Mahomes was because of a MEHHH fumble.

And the defense was beyond terrible for the first half of that season. It was Sutton bad (or worse) until we moved Jones back inside and signed Ingram. Then we played a bunch of bad QBs and it looked better.

Force him to throw the ball on late downs from the pocket and I'll take my chances. Has never not been the case.

Bump 01-21-2024 11:56 PM

I never thought Lamar wasn't a good football player, he is. But he still can't touch the two time and soon to be 3 time.

Chiefshrink 01-21-2024 11:59 PM

Lamar is NOT an NFL QB. He is a running back who plays the QB position with a slightly better arm than Tebow who is highly athletic with excellent juking speed who still can't read a defense.;)

Chiefspants 01-22-2024 12:00 AM

I once made a post after our Super Bowl victory in 2020 calling my shot that Lamar would be Patrick's career rival.

I got dunked on for it and am too embarrassed to dig it out now.

smithandrew051 01-22-2024 12:02 AM

Running QBs tend to look great until they play good defenses with all time great QBs.

History is on our side, even though the Ravens have had the better season.
