I'm gonna say boogblaster is LIKELY (but not definitely) gone. He stopped posting here in 2014, and I found a Facebook profile that matches him that stopped posting around the same time amid a variety of posts about heading to the "wound doctor." Saul will snipe the board with four or five posts a year these days, but he's alive and kicking. I have zero idea about Simplex. I always wondered if he came back with a new name, but no clue.

Would it be possible to share a pic here? I always wondered what he looked like, he and I were pretty close as internet pals go... I was just about the only guy who would respond to his posts
