I love Deadpool. Great flick...
But I LOOOVE Guardians! every single scene is good...hell even the soundtrack is awesome. reminded me of songs I'd totally forgotten about!

I'm a fan of most Marvel movies. Deadpool is my #1, GotG and Winter Soldier #2 and #3. Not sure which is which though. I'm expecting Panther to jump into the top 3 when it comes out.

Personally, I think the soundtrack is what gives the movie it's feel/vibe to separate it from the pack. It contrasts well with the ideology of the movie, which provided an almost playful element to their approach: old music; advanced technology.

Apparently Ego has a human avatar (Russel). I do not know if that's something from the comics or new for this movie? Seems underwhelming to me. Not really enamored with that choice, or with the fact that it was such a big secret after the first movie to just drop into a trailer. After all the internet sleuthing and theories it just seems like a lame choice. Guess we'll see what kind of story they put to it.

My theory is that Ego is housing Adam Warlock. They'll introduce him so they can get him into Infinity War to square off against Thanos. The good guys need a heavy in the same league as Thanos, what better way to get Warlock into the game?

Could be completely wrong, who knows.

And whoever that is, it looks like the same build as Mantis.....

Who's Adam Warlock? He's as powerful as Thanos? How come I don't know who he is?

He's in the original series. Quite prominently. His alter ego The Magus is much cooler though, at least for me.
