Sounds Like Butker will be fine in a week or two.:thumb:

This man just won the most important last two games of the season after all the turmoil he went thru.

On the same field as week one to boot :D

I knew he was religious, but I didn't know he was catholic.

Just FN great. Every time he masturbates instead of knocking up his wife, God makes him miss a kick.

Let's hope he keeps his seed out of the tissue this season, and in his wife where it belongs.

Dunerdr 11-07-2023 08:27 PM

This big dick MF has been money this year. Blowjay Kissel and Haley said he’s 12 points from holding the scoring record for the first 100 games.

He has been balls out this year.

Hammock Parties 11-28-2023 09:08 AM

Best start to a season for a Chiefs kicker.

There are only 5 perfect kicking seasons in NFL history

(Crosby/Forbath/Graham/Myers/Zendejas missed XPs)

A lot of these guys didn't play full seasons so it's pretty clear Butker has a chance to have the third-greatest kicking season ever behind Gary Anderson and Mike Vanderjagt.

Of course...they played in domes.

TheGreatCassholio 11-28-2023 09:11 AM

Wasn't Gary Anderson the one who didn't miss a kick all year then shanked one in the playoffs to lose the game?

YES! LMAO

If we extend this to the playoffs....Anderson is out.

You'd have to put Vanderjagt 1, Butker 2

Of course Vanderjagt didn't get a ring :)

smithandrew051 11-28-2023 09:17 AM

I also noticed on his stats that 52/55 of his kickoffs have been touchbacks. 95%, highest of his career. Previous high was 78%.

I assume this is probably league wide. Teams may finally be understanding that it’s a bad idea to take kicks out of the endzone.

TwistedChief 11-28-2023 09:18 AM

Remember when he was hurt last year and a bunch of people here wanted us to cut him?

We're paying him half a billion dollars, and putting the games on a kicker that should be wearing #2. It's ****ing asinine.

Arguably, he never has been. 13 seconds doesn't happen if the guy doesn't leave 4 points on the field in the first place, and we were just very fortunate he made good on the 49 yarder to tie. Andy is going to have to understand when it's better to just put the ball in 15s hands, and let the chips fall where they may. Watching this dude kick in big moments this year is giving me serious 90s vibes.

I wonder though.

What if the Chiefs get the ball back with a few minutes left in the game and a 3 point lead instead of being tied? Do we go too conservative in trying to run out the clock?

If so, maybe the Eagles get the ball back down 3 with 2 minutes left. I wouldn’t have felt too confident in that situation.

69D Chess from Harrison Butker to intentionally miss the first field goal.

I assume that includes regular season. I wonder what his last like 10 kicks or so in the playoffs look like? Or the last couplefew playoff runs. Not just % but distance and situation. He's been so damn clutch late in games, and even at the end of the 1st half.

IowaHawkeyeChief 01-31-2024 08:44 AM

He's nipping at Tucker's heel's for career accuracy and is dominating him in playoff points and playoff winning kicks. Tucker has another year like this and Butker may catch his punk ass.

That's the thing about Butker - he's such a good ball striker.

This isn't a guy like Santos who was fairly precise but still kinda feathered or pushed/hooked the ball through.

Butker is a big guy and he's fit. He !@#$ing legs that ball through. Just absolutely drills it. So even in the wind, he puts such force behind the ball that the wind almost doesn't have time to really impact it.

We've seen guys struggle kicking in conditions the entire post-season. Meanwhile Butker's kicked a frozen rock against Miami, in swirling winds against Buffalo and on a wet field in Baltimore - none of it mattered.

The guy just strikes the ball as well as anyone I've ever seen. While other guys are going out there throwing curveballs to get batters out, Butker's just bringing the hot, stinky cheddar.

Rausch 01-31-2024 09:24 AM

The only way the 49ers win this game is a blowout.

That's it.

All the factors that go into a really close game with one side winning at the end favor KC. The better HC, Defense, QB, Kicker, and secondary. So either the 49ers get a ton of turnovers and run up the score or they lose.

Had Butker made the game winning FG instead of Pat and Mecole hookup, no doubt he would have been MVP but it would also be hard not give the MVP to our defense collectively which has never happened but I think it was legit today and all season quite frankly because for the first time Pat was carried by our D all season long into our SB win no doubt.
