Clay has been a flip flopper since i joined this board back in '05. He's always been that way. If CP had an ultimate band wagon fan it'd be Clay.

Yeah I know this. For now why should I care? He is providing gifs of Patrick Mahomes II that I am enjoying very much.

It wouldn't hurt my feelings if Clay got the ban hammer but I don't have problems with him being pro Mahomes II because maybe he was wrong about him out of college he didn't want to be fooled like Geno Smith fooled a lot of us here.

Clay will eventually step on his tongue and mods will deal with it again but for now my ****s not given because I like this thread.

I like Alex for being a competent Chiefs QB. That being said, I just want to watch Mahomes play. We know what Alex can/can't do, give Pat some run with the #1 O.

Really the bar isn't set that high to look exceptionally better than Alex Smith for that matter last 40 years of quarterback play not including Trent Green.

Hell even on Mahomes **** ups he looks the part of being good quarterback and think any play he can make something marvelous happen. When he does it just becomes expected of him and on going. We won't be dreading to watch the offense flutter and sputter and Dustin Colquitt will lose his MVP status.

Option #1: Alan Branch. He'll do almost anything for food. A lifetime supply of donuts from Dunkin' Donuts should do the trick. A belly flop after a play fake is no problem at all.

http://a.espncdn.com/combiner/i?img=...ng&w=350&h=254

Option #2: Dont'a Hightower. He played for Nick Saban so he's already well versed in head-hunting tactics. A blitz up the middle should result in significant momentum to inflict blunt-force trauma on your body part of choice.

http://static.nfl.com/static/content.../HIG766208.png

But if you really want to get the job done, accept no substitute for option #3. In fact, he'll probably do it for free.

Common thread on all these plays?

Look at how mother****ing worthless Jah Reid is. Just routinely gets his ass kicked. Every single play.

Not a single thing has stood out to me more this year than how shitty Jah Reid is. Not even Mahomes. Nothing is more obvious every time that person is on the field than the fact that Jah Reid is a worthless pile of suck.

He's going to get someone hurt.

Terrible. Never once is he set properly to throw.

He'll take over either way.

$20 million owed to Smith demands it. And Smith would get something near that on the open market due to the insanity of NFL quarterback contracts so he won't be looking to take a paycut either.

It's going to happen.

Wrong. I am looking at this very post and seeing no sign and a different avatar. And when you displayed the sig, you deliberately made it small and not bolded to make it less noticeable. That's fine. I will keep this sig forever or you can comply for the rest of the season. Either way, it's going to be out there. But if you don't comply, I will display it a lot longer than the end of the bet. Because it's my sig and I can keep it forever if I want to

Remove your gargantuan, obnoxious sig and I will restore what I had in there.

Which was a regular text sized sig, and the avatar you chose for me.

I removed them because I am protesting your obnoxious, gargantuan sig.

That is perfectly acceptable. Take it or leave it.

jjchieffan 08-31-2017 05:36 PM

It's not gargantuan at all. Just big enough to be noticeable. Like I said, it's going to be here as is. In your sig for 4 months or in mine indefinitely. Makes no difference to me.

He read his key. The safety bites on the inside route and his #1 read has the inside lane...that's all he needed. Lay it up and let your guy make a play. This is the kind of play Alex can read, but the kind of throw he's hesitant to make.

Hammock Parties 08-31-2017 10:43 PM

Lots and lots of QBs in this league won't release the ball at that point in the play.

That's not a preseason throw. That's a regular season throw. Mahomes was out there clubbing baby seals.

Alex would probably be running from that DE.

Strongside 08-31-2017 10:46 PM

Also worth pointing out that Robinson ran that double-move route to perfection. That route is designed to bait the corner into thinking he can undercut the out portion of the route...and you can see he takes it – hook, line and sinker. Robinson was free and clear after the 2nd move. Really, really solid route running.
