Get yourself ready to watch us get beat by Alabama now!

Yes, because good teams that get upset continue to lose forever.

They can't play Alabama (which is on the consolation bracket). It will be Iona or Belmont on Sunday.

That was KU's worst loss by KenPom rating since February 2013 and the famous game against TCU (Dayton was 112 today versus TCU's 265 that day).

If that TCU game is the one I'm thinking of, I turned that shit off at halftime, it was so freakin' bad.... it's not like TCU played well, as they shot just a hair under 40% and like 57% FT, but KU somehow not only played worse, but significantly worse.

DrunkBassGuitar 11-26-2021 03:41 PM

just watched it and goddamn

lmao is all I can say.

i hate that quick 3 point shot that 80% of the time bounces off the rim and into the opponents rebounder. seems like when I see that shot being taken when we're is down it usually ends in a loss

DrunkBassGuitar 11-26-2021 03:41 PM

how tf do you blow a 15 point lead to a 2-3 shit tier team lmao

You don't compete hard enough and let a much less talented team run you off the floor. Happened quite often last year too.

That was the game where Self compared it to Naismith losing to Topeka YMCA.

Fact we are not playing very good, yeah we could lose our next game.

Oops, Yur right, I stand corrected.

I've been a huge Harris supporter but he simply can't be on the floor when McCormack is. The spacing is non-existent and Harris refuses to shoot. This offense needs to run through Remy, not Dave.

Wilson, Harris and Dave all played bad but we need guys who can score and will not make us exploitable and easy to defend.

Braun played great today. Agbaji missed some shots but he did take the ball to the rim.

The 2nd half today is the first time they've been outscored in a half all season.

I'd also guess Kansas hasn't lost consecutive games more than let's say 5 times in the past decade or more.

Assuming the 2nd half today means anything at all for the future is an overreaction.

Eh, early season loss.

I wouldn't be too concerned.

I agree, the spacing is an issue when both are out there and Harris is not respected as an offensive player by defenses (nor should he be). Problem is Harris is one of the few who defends well. The rotations will have to be figured out.

This.

Question is: does this become a trend or was it just a bad game?

This (like practically every team) team has flaws. We know that. Will they overcome and cover those issues up? We’ll find out.

I’m not worried for now.
