The giant African duck just flew away as if it were afraid.

I think something big is coming.

Ok, who can tell me which way the camera is facing? This should be easy if you know about the outdoors at all.

Lzen 11-14-2006 10:24 PM

west

FAX 11-14-2006 10:25 PM

I think it's facing west towards the water hole and away from all the animals, Mr. Bwana.

Yes and yes.............now tell me why.

Lzen 11-14-2006 10:33 PM

Sun just came up about an hour or so ago. Shadows are going away from the camera. Therefore, sun must be behind camera. Sun comes up in east.

FAX 11-14-2006 10:34 PM

No.

Oh, okay, Mr. Bwana ... hmmm ... because if it was facing the other way we couldn't see the water?

Because when the animals look for the camera in the morning they can't see it because the sun blinds their eyes and makes them blink?

That too, which is why Bwana also comes from the east with his 12 gauge. ;)

My wife thinks I'm nuts because I have this thing on all the time while surfing now. :)

Aw well, off to bed. I'll probably miss something interesting like monkey screwing.

Yes, as in correct. The time and the shadow give it away.
