Jones is currently in Miami per his Twitter. Can’t sign long term if you ain’t in KC :(

Do you really think CJ is just sitting there negotiating a new contract by himself? Dude has an agent for a reason and the agent knows what Chris wants. Hell maybe the Chiefs aren't even talking with his people and no negotiating is being done(I'd be pretty upset if that were the case), so it seems really ****ing weird that you are mashing the refresh button and pretty much stalking the poor guy. Leave Chris alone.

Well, with this Mahomes deal in place, we've got a lot of financial clarity.

Even dumber and means less than yesterday's tweets meaning anything

Also, I think it's time for Pawnmower and Clay to do their thing...

Can’t embed Chris Jones latest tweet- but it doesn’t look good for him being a Chief.

He alludes to not being valued.

“Don’t ever stay in a place that doesn’t suit you.”

Thanks for the embed

No prob. Yeah, at the very least that's posturing.

Miami has 2-1sts and 2-2nds in the next draft. They have the ammo for a trade and almost $21M in cap space.

2021 First Round: They are probably picking top 15 next year, and mid 20's.
2021 Second Round: They are probably picking 33-48, and 54-60.

If they would give us the ~24th and ~43rd pick, plus future cap freedom, that may not be too bad...

Still would love for Chris to stay, though.

At this point I have a feeling it comes down to Jones willingness to be reasonable. If he is wanting 21+/annually you pretty much have to let him walk. He is not Aaron Donald and if someone else is willing to pay him comparably I would likely let them. He is a monster a lot, at the same times there numerous games he just disappears.

I hope they can work something out but I can't be very optimistic at this point.

What games did he disappear?
