It turned out to be the game winner. Cut Revis today. Unbelievable. Get players who care.

dannybcaitlyn 01-07-2018 12:23 PM

Zombo got totally owned by a quarterback. If that were Ray Lewis Mariota would have been laying on his ass.

kcpasco 01-07-2018 12:26 PM

Yeah Zombo getting blown up by a man half his size just means he sucks but Revis looks like he could have maybe made a play if he was giving effort. That shit should get your bags packed quick.

TigeRRUppeRRcut 01-07-2018 12:27 PM

Holy shit that's bad, embarrassing and so defeating.

THIS

I've seen enough of Gilligans Island

That's bad. Revis needs cut, for sure, but that play is mainly on Zombo. He's got outside contain on an inside run and completely blows it by getting absolutely bodied by a finesse QB 50 poiunds lighter than he is.

Hydrae 01-07-2018 01:39 PM

Revis knew he couldn't stop Henry short of the sticks so the game was over.

Everyone did a bad job, Zombo STILL might have tackled him but wiffed, I'm not sure what Derek Johnson was doing but he wasn't playing the ball at all and gave up rather than set the edge, Parker showing no effort to get off of Walker to hold contain until he's pushed back literally 10 yards... fundamental football lacking at every level

It was an inside run. DJ would have been in good position to fill the gap.

Again, that play was on Zombo. You've got to keep containment and prevent the 250 RB from bouncing it outside and having a clean shot at your DBs.

Sorter 01-07-2018 01:46 PM

Zombo is the force player there.

Typical Chiefs effort and execution there.

Yes it was an inside run but you flow to the ball regardless, it's not like playing a zone where you just pass off. Regardless if Zombo failed at setting the edge, DJ is completely frozen midfield. I would expect our 3-down MLB to play sideline to sideline, but maybe that's too much to expect out of a 35 year old linebacker? :hmmm:

Pasta Little Brioni 01-07-2018 01:50 PM

Shoulda let him score. After Zombo and Parker got eaten it was game over.

Revis absolutely might have stopped Henry so this excuse doesn't hold up. After seeing this play I am hopeful Revis is not brought back. Don't want to give effort then get the **** off the team.
