Watching that as a comedy is the only option IMHO. Its laughably cheesy.

A Quiet Place looks like the breakout sleeper of the spring

Intrigued me as well, if only for the "The Last of Us" charm to it's premise.

The wife and I saw it this last weekend. While it is good I think it has a lot of story holes but I guess you suspend disbelief for a little while.

I need a movie to watch tonight - one that's not known but good - Mystery/Thriller or horror - ...Anyone?

Based on multiple posts here, and my own memory of the trailers... gonna rent The Witch for sunday night after TWD

It looks and sounds like thoughtful horror rooted in some kind of reality, not just some BS thats chasing around/being 'unlocked'/haunting a bunch of high school kids

Worst horror films that come to mind? ALL OF THEM

Simply Red 04-12-2018 08:05 PM

watching The Unborn from 2009 - not a good year for Horror - but this one was a hidden gem (apparently) - I'll report back.

All The Boys Love Mandy Lane is supposedly good too.

It's not so much a jump scare slasher type of film. It's more of an immersion into an environment where dread is plausible and inexorable. Or, IOW, pretty close to what you said.

It was good. One of my favorites still is The Others w/ Kidman.
