If Tiger plays, he'll be the betting favorite for sure regardless of how long he's been off on injury. He is in every tournament he plays.

Prison Bitch 06-15-2014 10:27 PM

Nonsense.

Shit, Tiger is the betting favorite right now on a few sites and he isn't even likely to play. LMAO

No Tiger, no care.

Worst golf take Eva! The game is way more exciting not knowing who will win each week. **** tiger and his fans.

I think the way that course was set up, there was no way to make a run. Par golf was great golf on those greens. Looked like British open with tougher greens. Americans aren't used to putting from 100 feet off the pin.

Anybody play Forekeeper @ Prairie Band casino? Taking my dad there for his birthday in a few weeks.

hawkchief 06-16-2014 09:15 AM

Most boring major I've seen in a while. Can't decide if it was due to Kaymer or the USGA-ing of Pinehurst. Just a poor major IMO.

I thought it was great to for Wie to win the Womens US Open. Men and women she's my favorite pro right now.

On another note I played Eagle Creek at the Down Stream Casino this past sunday and it was in great shape. Back in the late 70's /early 80's my buddies and I would drive down there from Springfield and play. It was called Loma Linda back then and it was a cool place to play but a little rough. Now it's awesome. I didn't play particularly well although I did drive it pretty well. Just missed to many greens and to many par putts. And when I did miss the fairway I was punished. It was a tournament though and in the weak field I came out on top. That's wins in my last two starts. Back to back! I got a nice trophy and some greenbacks.

Next tourney is at Rivercut here in Springfield in about three weeks. It's going to be back to back to back.

Sooooo how exactly does Great Life Golf work?

Just pay $30 a month and get access to the courses listed? I mean is it play whenever you want or do they restrict you to certain days and times?

Seems like a good deal to me even if the courses may not be the best...my nephew plays a bunch at River Oaks and this would give us a chance to play together.

I'm pretty excited with my game at the moment.

Started the year as a 21 HDCP, mostly due to wildness off the tee and fighting a hook throughout the bag.

Goal in January was to break 90. I've already done it 8 times in 20 rounds so far.

Shot a career low 85 last month, and set a new record Monday with an 80.

Index is down to a 16.1. Would be under 14, but I have 3 scores under 90 from the inactive season that technically shouldn't be posted.

Use to be happy if I broke 100, now I'm pissed if I don't break 90.

Played Pevely Farms on Monday (cheaply) and thought of you, Phil.

I wouldn't come up if I were you. Greens weren't in the best of shape. Great layout, though.

Pretty sure you can play whenever, I think you just have to make a tee time. My dad is a member and plays Lake Perry a lot.

I'm hoping the weather doesn't **** up my round tomorrow morning. Really looking forward to treating my dad to the round at Fire Keeper.

Glad wie won too. Good for her.

My golf game hasn't changed in 30 years. I think that's a good thing.

On a better note, my 15 year old just shot a 69. First round under par. I'm gonna frame that score card!
