I gave up on waiting for play to resume. Assuming Kaymer held on?

With a 35 foot bender on 17. He was choking big time. Spieth was kicking himself. We took off before the storms and missed the crowd.

I played the my 2nd tournament this past Sunday at the Carthage GC and I played poorly. Well I putted so bad that it's inexplicable. I had 18 putts in the 1st 8 holes. I quit counting there because there is just no good reason to continue.

It's pretty disheartening to putt so poorly but my ball striking is decent so there is that. When I decided to get back to some competitive golf I figured I'd have some set backs but that doesn't make it any easier to stomach. I'll play another tournament in 3 weeks at Hidden Valley GC located near scenic Boaz, MO. Between now and then I need to relearn how to putt.

I've been having a lot of issues lately with keeping my right elbow pointed at the ground. I worked on it pretty heavily today and finally started seeing some positive results.

Much of it goes back to playing with a shut face for years. Too high of a right elbow+ a shut face is a prescription for shanks without good timing. I'm sick of the shit, and I'm finally starting to notice a difference.

I've developed a case of the hooks and it's starting to piss me off.

I should go play golf now

I got a membership to my local course this year for the first time in like 5 years. Played 4-5 times then I got sick. Just now getting over it and eager to get back out.

Speed you're body up. Likely you're stopping the turn and quitting on it allowing your hands and arms to turn over to quick.

Could also be alignment. Make sure that's on par (athankyou) and try hitting balls and feel like getting your chest to te target through impact (or hips)

I fired an 83 last night at my Club. Best round of the year by 5 strokes for me. I need to play more, or at least hit the range more.

NCAA Golf

Today we get a special treat. NCAA championship golf from Hutchinson KS. 3:00 EST on the Golf Channel.

Been waiting a long time to see some college golf. And why is that? They show all the other sports. Why don't they cover more college golf?

I love it.

I've played Hidden Valley many times. My in-laws live in Springfield...Never shot better than a 86...Maybe beer had something to do with that.
always wondered why a nice course like that was in the middle of nowhere.
Its like a scene from Deliverance driving out there..

Rory dumps Caroline, starts playing good golf again.

Just picked up a used RBZ 5 wood. I'm relatively new to golf, but it's probably a bad thing that I hit that further than my Burner driver?

Dicks has brand new Taylormade RBZ drivers and fairway woods on sale for $100 apiece. I think here in a week or two I'm going to purchase a similar driver and 3 wood. I absolutely crush that 5 wood.

Also, anybody played Firekeeper @ Prairie Band? Treating my dad to a round there for fathers day soon.

'Hamas' Jenkins 05-27-2014 09:35 PM

People generally really liked the RBZ fairways, but the drivers had more mixed reviews. Try before you buy.
