Indiana Jones 5 is expected to be the final film of the series, and the makers are leaving no stone unturned to deliver a spectacular send-off to the beloved franchise and Harrison Ford. Boyd Holbrook, who watched a portion of Indiana Jones 5 recently, praised Ford and promised a "badass" and emotional movie. Talking to Men’s Health, Holbrook said:

"I can assure you that it’s going to be badass. I got to see like half an hour of it when I went to L.A., and I saw Jim. You know, just look at his work: Ford v Ferrari, it’s gonna be fast, it’s gonna be badass, and it’s gonna have heart. All of his films have this emotional beat in them, but we’ve got this grand scale of Indiana Jones."

Holbrook is excited to work with James Mangold again after Logan, and like the producers, he too believes the director will exceed expectations. Mangold has written Indiana Jones 5 with Ford v Ferrari scribes Jez and John-Henry Butterworth, and his fresh perspective on the franchise has been commended by producers Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall.

Wasn't this your reaction at the beginning to Crystal Skull? I don't know what you thought of it, but myself I though it was a HUGE disappointment...there were some fun moments, but largely forgettable and easily the worst one in the series.

I hope they can redeem it with this iteration...but I'm not holding my breath...

How old is Jones supposed to be? Ford was born in '42 and the movie was released in '81. So say Jones was 39 in 1944. Ford is 80 now. So is Jones 80 years old now and does the movie take place in the mid 1980's?

Exactly. The whole arc of Raiders (see what I did there) was Indy starts out not believing in religious hocus pocus but by the end of the film it's obvious that he's forced to believe at least in the idea that there is much more out there mysterious and unexplainable...

I think, for me, it doesn't matter who the director is. The source material is as tired as old ass Harrison Ford is.

De-aging is fine is you are doing flashbacks to progress a story. I don't care to watch what will amount to a digitized Harrison Ford for 2 hours. The trailer looks like a god damned CGI/green screen abomination.

He was an actor in the movie "Everything, Everwhere, All At Once". That movie cleaned up at the Oscars... Best Picture, Best Actress, Best Supporting Male, Best Supporting Female... I think. I might have one of those off.

It is a really good movie... not the artsy shit that wins sometimes. Check it out if you haven't.

They should have stopped after Raiders. Temple is decent. Crusade is watchable. Crystal Skull was horrible.

No way this one doesn't continue the trend.
