Might not need to.

58kcfan89 11-22-2009 06:21 PM

58kcfan89 11-22-2009 06:22 PM

3333333333333!

Crap. Just gave up one... This is nuts.

Saulbadguy 11-22-2009 06:22 PM

Play some f'n defense...

kstater 11-22-2009 06:26 PM

Denny could make that 3 off the key all day long.

Saulbadguy 11-22-2009 06:26 PM

"cold blooded 3" by Clemente!

kstater 11-22-2009 06:33 PM

BTW did Kelly get hurt? Haven't seen him in a while.

Saulbadguy 11-22-2009 06:36 PM

Nice kick to the head.

kstater 11-22-2009 06:36 PM

Samuels probably going to be sitting out next game, no need for the dirty stuff.

Dante84 11-22-2009 06:37 PM

Samuels needs to get his ass to the bench for the next two weeks. **** that shit. Thats not us.

kstater 11-22-2009 06:37 PM

On a side note, they can't T him up off a replay can they?

kstater 11-22-2009 06:38 PM

Guess they can T him off based on replay.

58kcfan89 11-22-2009 06:39 PM

OK, I've had the game on mute for a few minutes while I was on the phone. WTF did Jamar do?

Samuels had a cheap shot. Not needed, no reason for it.

Dante84 11-22-2009 06:41 PM

Kicked a dude in the head. Straight up. Dirty as shit. The guy was on the ground holding the ball in a tie up, and Jamar lifted his foot as he was standing over him, and gave him a soft but certain kick to the head.

And Frank just "****ed him out." but he sent him to the table, so he's back in.

Bad call Frank.

Like, what specifically?

Up 3, 3 mins left. Time to step up, boys.

Saulbadguy 11-22-2009 06:41 PM

4 point play right there.

kstater 11-22-2009 06:42 PM

Nice play by Kelly there.

Saulbadguy 11-22-2009 06:42 PM

Slow it down...

Dante84 11-22-2009 06:42 PM

I think I just decided that my favorite player is Curtis Kelly.

Saulbadguy 11-22-2009 06:42 PM

Man, Pullen is having a monster game.

No kidding. It's like he just willed that ball into the bucket on the play where the guy was playing great defense on him. Not that it's saying much, but he's worlds better than what we had down low last year.

I'd usually agree, but you know when Pullen and Clemente get going it's best to keep going and not slow down.

Saulbadguy 11-22-2009 06:44 PM

Dayton NOT missing, gah.

kstater 11-22-2009 06:46 PM

Ok, at this point, Wally Judge is not the guy needed on the line.

Saulbadguy 11-22-2009 06:47 PM

5 point game, 1:32 left. Dayton ball after the timeout.

Had a 15 point lead at one point...

kstater 11-22-2009 06:48 PM

Get the ****ing rebound.

Saulbadguy 11-22-2009 06:48 PM

When Dayton does miss, we can't get the rebound.

Well, at least he kicked an opposing teams player, rather than punching a fellow student athlete. ;)

Saulbadguy 11-22-2009 06:53 PM

Judge = YOU HAVE BEEN OVERRULED!

Saulbadguy 11-22-2009 06:53 PM

Pullen didn't even touch him. Yech.

58kcfan89 11-22-2009 06:54 PM

Wow, Jake living dangerously there. Frank's gunna be pissed.

The football team was getting too cocky.

Saulbadguy 11-22-2009 06:57 PM

We should try getting the ball in to the hands of some of our better FT shooters, not Sutton...

Dante84 11-22-2009 06:57 PM

BB Guns, Elevator Penises, Intraschool fights, etc.

58kcfan89 11-22-2009 06:57 PM

4 point lead with 37.5 seconds left......

C'mon, defense!

Saulbadguy 11-22-2009 06:58 PM

The towel boy didn't appreciate the camera man trying to film Daytons huddle.

National Titles

Saulbadguy 11-22-2009 07:00 PM

Dayton finally misses! Intentional foul...this one should be over.

kstater 11-22-2009 07:00 PM

Thank god he missed that, no ****ing reason someone should be that open for 3 in that situation.

58kcfan89 11-22-2009 07:02 PM

Our inability to hit free throws is maddening. Let's go, Jake, hit both of these and put this away.

kstater 11-22-2009 07:04 PM

Well a win over a ranked team on a neutral court is a nice resume builder.
Hope Dayton doesn't completely shit the bed here on out.

Saulbadguy 11-22-2009 07:05 PM

Good win. EMAW.

This. This could end up being a big win for the 'Cats. We tried to piss it away, but kept them from beating us... I'm pretty happy with the win, although it would have been nice to blow them out of the water (like it looked like we might have early in the 2nd half).

Frank didn't look to happy after the buzzer sounded. I like that guy.

KC_Connection 11-22-2009 07:32 PM

Dayton outplayed Villanova in the game that I saw earlier in the week. I think they are a top 20 team, and K State should be above them it appears.

Saulbadguy 11-22-2009 08:49 PM

Ole Miss is keeping pace with Villanova, last time I checked it was tied in the 2nd half.

Dante84 11-22-2009 08:50 PM

I agree... but Wally is way more crack-headish I think.

mikeyis4dcats. 11-22-2009 10:29 PM

Kelly's head is too small for his body, kinda freaks me out...

JamSam should sit next game. Bet he told Frank it was an accident, and Frank's gonna put a horse head in his bed when he sees the tape.

Dante84 11-22-2009 11:53 PM

No joke, I Really, really want a decent suspension for that shit. I don't care. If we can't overcome his absence, we are in big trouble.

That shit should not fly. Especially after Clemente's melt down last year.

I do not want us getting a reputation for being a dirty team.

Seth Davis has us at #21.

http://www.fannation.com/si_blogs/ho...s-in-my-ballot

USA Today, AP, etc has us receiving votes.

As long as we can get out of the non-con with no bad losses, we'll be in good shape come Big XII play imo.

Not that it matters, but the Cats actually lost votes in the coaches poll.

Yeah, I know. Tickets were cheap though. $25/. Taking the kids down early to tour the HOF Section in the SC.

kstater 11-25-2009 09:16 AM

Didn't Frank say it wasn't legal trouble that kept him out last weekend?

http://www.kansascity.com/sports/story/1592470.html

MANHATTAN, Kan. | Luis Colon, a senior center on the Kansas State basketball team, was arrested Monday for failing to appear in court.
He was to appear in court for a traffic violation he received for speeding and failing to yield. Colon was later released on bond.
Colon has not played this season after averaging 4.4 points and 4.7 rebounds for the Wildcats a year ago. He missed the first two games of the season because of a hand injury and the last three because of what K-State coach Frank Martin said last week was an unspecified off-court issue. Martin said Tuesday that the arrest was unconnected to the issue that has kept Colon from playing.
“Luis’ competition status remains unchanged,” Martin said in a statement. “In an unrelated incident, Luis was arrested Monday for an unpaid traffic violation that has since been resolved, and any disciplinary action deemed necessary will be handled internally.”

Saulbadguy 11-25-2009 09:18 AM

If we want to compete with the elite basketball teams we need to let these things slide.
