So, here we are -- discussing an NFL player on a multi billion dollar team and somebody suggests they hold him out the game for a sore knee with no swelling.

No, Wendler. Just no.

It's likely Berry's input put him back on the field for another play more than any other person's input during his eval.

Their job is to make their own decision based on the physical condition of the player.

Not what the player says.

His knee was not "sore," either.

Classic Parcellsian bullshit. GET YOUR ASS OUT THERE, YOU CAN WALK!

They didn't do their job.

Like Milk said, you cannot confirm a tear without an MRI.

Doesn't ****ing matter.

You don't need confirmation.

If you even suspect the knee is not solid, you should not allow the player back on the field.

Especially a player like Berry.

Colossal ****up, but expected from our staff considering the history.

I don't give a **** that the Chargers got away with playing with fire.

**** off you ****ing dipshit homer.

Don't we have an MRI machine at Arrowhead? Seems like a simple thing to chuck him in the machine and get a result. Better safe than sorry when dealing with a potential stud who happens to be a 1st rd pick. Especially the first game of the season.

Sometimes Clay, you're just a ****ing idiot.

This is one of those times.

So, Bill Parcells made Eric Berry blow an ACL. Okay.

Can you tell me which other player Bill Parcells, or any disciple injured by sending him out to play?

BigMeatballDave 07-04-2012 01:49 PM

Remember when Stafford seperated his non-throwing shoulder vs. Cleveland?

During the stoppage of play and a time out he convinced the trainers he could go.

This is how it is.

I'm thinking that would take more than a few minutes and I doubt they have one there.

This is a stupid argument.

And if you believe Stevie's hit blew the ACL, then its a really stupid ****ing argument.

The way he fell down, and nursing his knee afterwards was a big indicator that something was ****ed, up the teams agenda and Berry's pride/toughness didn't help. We weren't in the medic huddle checking his knee, but that hit definitely ****ed him and that is obvious.

I've had MRIs and they dont take all that long. I don't know if there is one at Arrowhead or not... I thought there was.

I do believe that Stevie's hit caused the initial damage and going back on the field finished the job.

None of you people know shit.

Reality check complete.

Carry on.
