Man the officials hate Tillmon

BlackHelicopters 03-08-2018 04:14 PM

This game should not even be close.

'Hamas' Jenkins 03-08-2018 04:15 PM

Worst refs imaginable for a team with short depth. Everything is a foul.

kepp 03-08-2018 04:15 PM

We always have to have at least one guy have a breakout game against us. Hightower's season avg is 3.3...13 today so far.

Simply Red 03-08-2018 04:21 PM

can't get boards - that's all she wrote - can't beat UGA in basketball you have a big big problem there.

Simply Red 03-08-2018 04:22 PM

and it sucks because I really hate UGA.

kepp 03-08-2018 04:24 PM

Refs just crap all over Tilmon

My company acquired another located in Athens and I've been spending quite a bit of time there. I'm starting to like UGA. =P

What a pile of shit effort

Molitoth 03-08-2018 04:27 PM

Because Tigers...

Gets MJP back... shits the bed.
The Chiefs would end up doing this exact same shit.

Pasta Little Brioni 03-08-2018 04:28 PM

Chiefspants 03-08-2018 04:30 PM

Holy ****. Clutch. How poetic would this finish be?

kepp 03-08-2018 04:31 PM

Why shoot a 3 there?

Pasta Little Brioni 03-08-2018 04:33 PM

**** this team. A home game against a pathetic GA team and they play like this...

Pasta Little Brioni 03-08-2018 04:34 PM

...and they choke at the line. One more shot.

kepp 03-08-2018 04:37 PM

What a piece of crap game

'Hamas' Jenkins 03-08-2018 04:38 PM

Barnett, Robertson, and Puryear were so goddamned terrible today it almost defies imagination.

Mizzou's two worst performances of the season were both in St. Louis.

Pasta Little Brioni 03-08-2018 04:38 PM

Just send their asses to the NIT for this

baitism 03-08-2018 04:38 PM

why? They clearly deserve the NCAA.

I hate to lose, but Porter is healthy and shed some dust. We should be ready to roll next week.

He's not healthy. You could tell from the complete lack of elevation on that putback in the first that he's not all the way back.

disagree. He’s healthy, but doesn’t yet have his legs. I don’t know that he will by next week, but he’ll be better.

We’ll be good to go.

Rudy tossed tigger's salad 03-08-2018 04:52 PM

almost a shot per minute on 30% shooting. 33 year old Kobe Bryant would be impressed.

True, but losing to a dog shit team basically at home would be a nice change for Missouri sports teams...

Sure-Oz 03-08-2018 05:27 PM

Get ready for the Tourney... hopefully everyone gets back on the same page and Porter gets better.

duncan_idaho 03-08-2018 05:57 PM

Good: Jontay Porter played well, and Michael Porter played.

Bad: Michael's athleticism is not all the way back.

Horrible: Everyone's play and shooting other than Jontay Porter.

Greatest shock of the game was seeing MU cheerleaders and UGA cheerleaders lateral in looks. I was proud this day for that reason, alone!

Nothing changes except I really wanted to see Mizzou vs Kentucky.

i was pulling for my boys though - i brought the stream forward toward COB today, at the office - I was pulling for MU for Zach, Hamas and my brother PGM - trust me Kweens i grew up in Blue Spings - 7 Hwy Exit is literally 2 hours from there if you drive Dadleft4Cigarettes speed limit - he lives in Bates City, BTW!

You're a hard fella to read. I can't tell if you were being serious about Mizzou wrecking the SEC in basketball lol. They went from last place to 5th in a year. The SEC is pretty decent this year in basketball. Probably going to get 8 teams in the tourney.

It would have been nice to get MPJ another game, but it is what it is. Maybe they could scrimmage the girls team. They're pretty good lol

I can acknowledge the impressive improvement, while being disappointed about today's result. They are in, but not a good way to head into the tourney. What's so hard to understand?

Gives MPJ another solid week of practices to shake some more rust off.

I’d rather have a 10th seed than an 8 of 9.

I get the whole "I'm an angry Mizzou fan!" thing, but we won 27 games in three years

I'm not complaining about anything. It's year 1 for Cuonzo. He's never made the tournament in year 1. He is a young coach which is steadily improving

I don't understand why Mizzou fans are obsessed with the games that don't matter

I'm mostly with you, but it would have been nice to have a good showing in front of the St. Louis crowd for recruiting.

It isn't good, but it also is not a death blow. It doesn't look like it will even budge Mizzou's seed because so many right behind them also lost early in conference tourneys.

Rest, get healthy, get Porter, Jr. Closer to 100 percent. See what happens in the tournament.

WhawhaWhat 03-09-2018 09:08 AM

http://www.bracketmatrix.com/

Most bracket predictors have Mizzou at an 8 seed, same as they were yesterday.

I agree. I mainly just would have liked to see Porter get another game or two under his belt before the Crapshoot Invitational Games begin.

It's doubly impressive that he won all of those 20 games without MPJ - who was looked at as an absolute lynchpin to your roster.

gblowfish 03-09-2018 01:15 PM

Typical Mizzou. Get the tourney on home turf, get the allegedly best player in college basketball back, and ****ing lose to a pedestrian Georgia team that had to play the day before.

I do agree, that all in all, it's better than watching Kermie Ball. But at least Kermie won an SEC Tourney game last year.

Hope Mizzou can manage to win at least one NCAA game. That would be wonderful.
