Yep.

There are reasons neither of their old teams wanted to keep either guy, that was my point.

Foot injuries, especially Sammy's, are bad and take like 2-3 years to fully heal. But they heal if you aren't 7 feet 280 pounds. Even then they sometimes do.

People are just looking for reasons to bitch about this and it is goddam awesome. It isn't your money. We got a starting linebacker and threat to score wide receiver today and you should be celebrating.

Alex Smith has made you all a bunch of crybabies and to quote a good song

Foot injury ended Deon Sander's career and he isn't 7 foot.

Foot injuries are terribad

Teams wont be able to double Watkins every play with Kelce/Hill in the mix. His presence creates a match-up nightmare. Which side gets safety help..then you have Kelce underneath?

AFC West teams shouldn't be happy about this signing...I think KC paid too much but he's pretty damn good when healthy and utilized correctly. He put up almost 700 yards and 6 TDs in the final 6 games after surgery. That's elite numbers...

Keenum had a nice 8 game stretch last year too.

Can't wait for him to pull the Julius Thomas ouchie routine after getting paid.

I love this pick up. Eat that cap while sitting in the trainers room!

500 yards average in his last 2 years and on his 3rd team in 5 years. The team who traded for him last year didn't bother to try to resign him, that says it all.

1) Rams were trying to get him signed but he wanted to go to KC because he can see what Mahomes can do.

2) I’m traveling but preliminary reviews of Watkins’ film shows:

2.1) Goff is not a great QB. Lots of misses after Watkins got complete separation from the corner; and

2.2) Watkins got open far more often than his numbers show. If he had a QB that had the arm strength and accuracy to get the ball to him, his numbers would have been much higher. We can all agree that based upon he sample size we have, Mahomes will be a lot better than Goff.

Point 2.1 above will make the LA/KC game in Mexico City quite interesting.

I like this signing. $10M is guaranteed and the other $6M is in incentives. This offense will be difficult to stop. Veach isn’t afraid to make some moves. This decision may ultimately not work well but based upon the information e have going in, this is a smart decision.

That's a red herring rebuttal...Bills fans were saying when he's right, he's uncoverable one on one.

He has the ability to one of the best WRs in the NFL...It'll be interesting, now, that he isn't the sole receiving option and having Tyrod throwing to him. Reid can find ways to use him...

I read his posts in the voice of the QB from The Waterboy.

“I’m the wa wa waterboy. I’ve got a wa wa wooden spoon. Durr hurr hurr.”

Whatever man, if you don't think that 2 surgeries and some screws in Watkins' foot are nothing to worry about then good for you.

Hope so

I'm just curious how the Donkeys will attempt to cover especially after dumping Talib. With Tyreek and Watkins both causing a D to have to help over the top and Kelce requiring more than a LB to cover what are you gonna do? 6 DB's so Hunt can run apeshit or leave an lb in so Hunt can exploit on the catch and run? I like the matchup challenges that KC is gonna cause. 3 wideout sets with Tyreek, Watkins and Conley will be faster than any group of CB's in the league.

I'm saying it isn't a death sentence and if the Chiefs gave him this contract you can bet your ass he is passing a medical. I just don't understand the doom and gloom. I live in LA so I've actually watched Sammy play and he's a huge talent that has been hampered by an injury that takes time to heal. Just assuming the Chiefs are throwing 10m a year at him and he won't ever play is ignoring the facts.

Amendola to the Dolphins in the works.

It’s a mild concern, sure. But the tape last year still shows a guy who is highly explosive and gets open against great corners.

What doom and gloom? Most are ecstatic. I feel like i should be more excited than i am. I don't trust Watkins. But i understand why people are high on his potential.
