No idea if this is really a drink but it's damn tasty.

2 oz bourbon
1 oz aperol
Juice from two limes or lemons (I prefer lemons for this but I have too many limes on my tree and lemons aren't ready until winter!)
Splash of honey

Gonna try and hit the pool later. Running out of pool weather here unless you're ok with the water being fairly cold.

I don’t drink like that anymore. I limit myself to 6 on a weekend.

I’m old.

Assorted Redd's Wicked Ciders

My SO has got me hooked mixed about 30% with seltzer water.

I fight for the blackberry and the Sour Apple is great too.
IMHO it's best served straight up over baller ice.

My SO makes them with seltzer water---1-25oz can mixed with 12oz seltzer served over baller ice in 2 -20oz glasses. Makes tasty/ cheap drinks ($1.25)drinks that are really refreshing.

Titty Meat 09-26-2020 05:14 PM

Gonna open a bottle of scotch tonight. Been a bad week

htismaqe 09-26-2020 05:34 PM

I've had a such a bad week, I can't even drink. I have to work.

Easy 6 09-26-2020 05:36 PM

Moar vodka, with a side of Budweiser

Chargem 09-27-2020 05:48 AM

I usually have a few bottles of Scotch and Bourbon on the go and rotate between them, keep coming back to the Woodford Reserve though, something about it really pleases my taste buds.

cooper barrett 09-27-2020 06:15 AM

I'm there too. I bought a case of the 1 liter Kentucky derby bottles at 37.00 less 20%, so less than $30. They have the original date

Pablo 09-27-2020 11:50 AM

Well it's rainy and like 60 here. It's perfect fall weather, so I'm channeling my inner basic bitch and drinking a pumpkin beer. 8% on this bad boy and like $10 for a sixer. If you like pumpkin flavor then it's a great option. About the only good thing to come outta Fergusonistan.

I used to go after O'Fallon Brewery's pumpkin beer, but this one has taken it's place. Very good flavor and at that ABV and price point it's a no-brainer. Does not drink like 8% at all, you would be in trouble if you bought these and didn't look at the ABV.

I had two of my usual "mostly water" dirty martinis (with four Costco garlic/jalapeno olives and the "dirty" coming from the olive container [YUM!!!]); after a rather long day at the lake with dive students. I was a bit beat by the time I got home because the seemingly drab day got really exciting in the afternoon as the 60mph horizontal winds and mega-rain got to us and we weren't quite done packing up (and other instructors still had divers in the water!!!), so lot's of "just throw it in the trailer", and an interesting first 20 minutes of towing a trailer in those winds.

Needless to say, I earned martini #2!!!

GloryDayz 10-02-2020 05:45 PM

My version od a martini. Long, successful, and productive week, I've earned a couple more. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...09b667b738.jpg

Decent. First time trying it. Having one is a nice change of pace from the usual but wouldn't be something I'd rave over.

Taking a sub 10% stout to market in Chicago is a good way for a brewery to go out of business.

cooper barrett 10-20-2020 06:54 PM

Tito's and some local dairy's gourmet raspberry lemonade.

Later. local distillery's (Nashville IN) Cinnamon vodka and Apple cider....

It’s not overly sweet with the peach flavor?

Yes, it's very smooth. I had got some airplane bottles to mix into some glazes I was making, but I decided to give it a go on the rocks. I don't regret it..

KCUnited 11-03-2020 04:59 PM

Homebrewed smoked-coconut porter

In lieu of toasting the coconut, I smoked it. Gave it a smoky, savory, almost breakfast-in-a-glass like vibe. Pairs well with snickerdoodles...

Not necessarily "super nice" but one heck of a pour. I love Ardbeg's stuff. And I love that they bottle it at 46%. Nothing beats sweet and peat together.

phisherman 11-03-2020 05:58 PM

I've got some extra freshie Hop Butcher cans courtesy of KCUnited so I'll drink a few of those and then probably have a scotchie or two, most likely something cask strength. Nothing over the top.

Yeah, lit on Ardbeg's about ten years ago? Whatever. They're all good. Usually have a bottle of Uigeadail in the bar, and around X-Mas I usually grab a bottle of Corryvreckan. But An Oa is my current favorite. Just a really nice overall Scotch, nearly perfect balance.

phisherman 11-03-2020 06:24 PM

Oh, man, Uigeadail is my favorite bottling they do. Mega sweet and peat! Maybe I should open one up....

Damn, that's rated 100 on BeerAdvocate.

Drinking a King Sized Candy Bar Stout (pic stolen from Untappd) from Fate Brewery in Scottsdale... highly recommended if you like peanuts and won't die from eating them (a serious rash is probably still worth it).

Next to nothing. A few decent channel cat earlier in the summer but I haven't gone fishing in months.

I did catch a blue gill sunfish that was bigger than my hand out of a farm pond at a house my wife house sits at. It was the biggest sun fish I've ever seen. I thought i saved the photo on snapchat, but guess not.
