Since the last time I filled up, the price has gone from $4.25 to $3.99 and back to $4.25. Seems like it's different every day. Pricks.

Figured you would be recommending a tin foil hat on that.

Why? I wasn't aware of that motor. But, I wouldn't be surprised if it's less than 100 bhp.

I was actually referring to the mans' theories on why we can't have nice things in this country.

Oh. I guess I didn't get that far/ran out of gas.

stonedstooge 05-04-2012 12:32 PM

Cool. Oil down to were it was in January when gas was $2.69 a gallon here. Wonder how long it will take for the price to drop back down

Donger 05-08-2012 09:10 AM

Crude still on a downward trend. Trading right now at $96.45/barrel. Gasoline at $3.76, down $0.15 from one month ago.

You didn’t miss anything. The guys basic information is correct but the conspiratorial conclusions he reaches are idiotic since he doesn’t even realize the engines he’s talking about burn Diesel which has a higher “road tax” than gas.

Not to mention he kept saying THIS administration...I guarantee you this has been going on for a helluva lot longer than 3 years.

I still think though that it would be interesting to see the cost. If all these diesel engines were deployed, regular gas would go down but diesel would go up. Probably still in the same boat...

Absolutely it has.
The EPA has been trying to get rid of Diesels since its inception.

You know it, Diesel actually used to be cheaper than gas, then in the 70’s when the oil embargo hit and gas prices skyrocketed people started switching to Diesel vehicles so the price promptly surpassed that of gasoline and it has never gone back.
