Memphis and Cincy?


Why doesn't the Big 12 invite Tulsa and SMU while they are at it?

So...you weren't "co-champions" with head to head losses against the other "co-champions" in any of those seasons...2 seeds in the tournament?

Cincy played in the Orange Bowl and Sugar Bowl in the last several years and has great basketball. Memphis just won the AAC, has great basketball, and has a backer (potentially)similar to Phil Knight and T. Boone Pickens. Both bring in large new markets/states, and they bridge the WVU gap.

It just seems so.....lackluster.


Nebraska, aTm, Mizzou, Colorado (They were pretty ****ing good for a while).

Not really. KSU earned their share of the league. All the h2h determined was top seed in the conf tourney.

Dude...Baylor and TCU are co-champions of the conference...fending off Kansas State. If that ain't lackluster, I don't know what is. Might as well embrace the role of the conference with Texas, Oklahoma, and the little engines that could.

So, did the Big 12 change their rules? I thought head-to-head was the tiebreaker.

You barely squeaked by Kansas in a game you should have lost and played Iowa State while everyone else was playing championship games. You don't get to play the "conference meat grinder" card.

Bowelsby should lose his job if the Big 12 gets left out. He got greedy and tried to get two teams to back in rather than one team earn it via being the conference champ. The upside of getting two teams is nowhere near as good as getting no teams is bad.

Alabama
Oregon
Florida State
Ohio State

Bye Bye Big 12.

Gives them a championship game. They don't bring much else.
