DJ wants to be a coach someday. I'm all for him being the linebackers coach whenever he decides to hang them up

I'll be pleasantly surprised if DJ makes it through this season.. Barring a great season, I'll be annoyed if he's still on the roster next season.

He can coach here, though, for sure.

Anyone worried about Kelce's loss of upper body strength due to the shoulder surgery and how that might impact his blocking ability?

In the article, he stated that he'd like to coach "some day" but that it won't happen immediately after he retires.

Why would anybody be worried about it. The surgery was to make him improve.

This should be a focus the next two years to build a dominate OL. The best two OL's finished 12-4 and 13-3 last year and we need Mahomy to not be pressured and have a solid run game behind him.

Right, and you usually lose a bunch of upper body strength due to atrophy since you can do anything but rehab work for 6-12 weeks after a shoulder scope. I just hope he can still block after not being able to lift heavy for months.
