If someone takes my pick for Carolina I’m going to shit in this thread :)

Direckshun 03-20-2018 11:08 PM

The Chargers really wanted to go QB here, but they're going to try to protect Philip Rivers a bit more by taking an RT with LT versatility in the long run.

The Chargers take Mike McGlinchey, OT, Notre Dame.

BossChief 03-20-2018 11:49 PM

The Seattle Seahawks select Taven Bryan, DL, Florida

ChiefAshhole1056 03-21-2018 12:09 AM

The Dallas Cowboys select Harold Landry, Edge, Boston College.

Landry is a top 10 capable player and will solidify the Cowboys pass rush with Lawrence for the near future. A weakness becomes a strength with one pick.

TambaBerry 03-21-2018 05:33 AM

The Detroit Lions select Derwin James, S, Florida State

BossChief 03-21-2018 06:45 AM

Just about everyone has done it at one point or another.

You might have the record for how soon in the draft you did it, though.

So, at least there’s that.

Mother****erJones 03-21-2018 07:15 AM

Lions getting James there is great value

Offense is a huge need still for this Bills team, but I don't like many receivers at this spot, and Wynn just went the pick before. They instead will draft the highest rated remaining defensive player on their board, who happens to fill a need. Bills could use some star playmakers, and while I don't think that's what he'll be in his rookie season, he certainly has the potential for that in the following seasons.

The Buffalo Bills select Leighton Vander Esch, LB, Boise State

RealSNR 03-21-2018 08:11 AM

WHY HASN'T CHIEFSCAFAN PICKED YET? WHAT A CONDESCENDING PRICK.

Mother****erJones 03-21-2018 08:16 AM

I should be good to go today if my pick is ready I’m working but I’m still a ways away. I have my pick I’ll PM to SNR if it comes to it

RealSNR 03-21-2018 08:23 AM

Yeah. Speaking of which, I'll be pretty busy starting tomorrow and going through Saturday. I will certainly be around on my phone to get my picks in, but I can't always guarantee I will be able to post any picks you might PM to me.

Might be a good idea to send them to me, Pest, and the person picking after you. Between the three of us, we should be able to make it work.

It’s all good I’ll be checking in today so I can still do it but I just did it for times sake if I can’t respond

The Los Angeles Rams select Arden Key OLB LSU

https://res-3.cloudinary.com/ybmedia...83/9527982.jpg

Rams traded away Robert Quinn so they need a new pass rusher or edge rusher for Wade Phillips 3-4 Defense. Key if not for the red flags would've been a sure fire top ten selection. Is it a risk? Yes it could be but the Rams this offseason have been accepting of talented players with red flags. Key is just too talented a performer to not take a chance on.

With the 24th pick of the 2018 NFL draft the Carolina Panthers select Jaire Alexander CB Louisville

Quick break from work. So, with Breeland’s failed physical, this is an obvious need and pick. Panthers are thrilled he slides right in at corner.

pugsnotdrugs19 03-21-2018 09:23 AM

With the 25th pick, the Tennessee Titans select Rashaan Evans, ILB, Alabama

The Titans consider going WR here but new HC Mike Vrabel wants a tone setter in the middle of his new defense on the heels of Avery Williamson’s departure.

Mother****erJones 03-21-2018 09:41 AM

Sorry forgot my PM apologize

Marco Polo 03-21-2018 10:32 AM

The Falcons have no WR options outside of Julio. That changes.

The Atlanta Falcons select Courtland Sutton, WR, SMU.

RealSNR 03-21-2018 11:51 AM

We're gonna get into the second round soon.

I have a copy/pasted document of the NFL draft order as it stands today. That's without the extra trades that will be made prior to the day of the draft affecting the first round. It looks like there will still be a few. Those trades will not count since we've already completed a part of our draft.

If we're in the 2nd round and a team trades a player for a 3rd rounder, I will honor that trade and make the correction.

2nd round order will be up some time this early afternoon.

RealSNR 03-21-2018 12:10 PM

Titty Meat 03-21-2018 02:20 PM

Pittsburgh Steelers select Justin Reid, Safety, Stanford

staylor26 03-21-2018 02:29 PM

The Jacksonville Jaguars select Lamar Jackson, QB, Louisville

Sure, I could take the best TE in this class, or a guy like Ronnie Harrison to make the defense even better, but this team isn’t going to take the next step without a QB. With this defense, the Jags need above average QB play on a rookie contract in the worst way. I don’t see any potential above average QB’s in this class after Jackson, so this is an easy decision for me.

Also, I think this team has such a good young roster they can afford to take a QB in the early rounds any of the next couple of years too making it well worth the gamble on Jackson’s upside.

Sfeihc 03-21-2018 02:47 PM

With the 31st selection in the 2018 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots select Kolton Miller, OT, UCLA.

Virtually a carbon copy of Nate Solder is long, athletic, and rough around the edges. Needing seasoning didn't stop the Patriots from grabbing Solder at the 17th overall in 2011. With Solder headed to New York, the Pats have to do more than consider a move of Marcus Cannon to the blind side.

I disagree. To easily dismiss his upside as a QB with all that athleticism/talent is foolish IMO.

With the 33rd selection in the 2018 NFL draft, the Cleveland Browns select Isaiah Oliver, CB, Colorado.

There was some chatter from Mel that the Browns should have considered Minkah Fitzpatrick over Vita Vea at the top of the draft, but the Brownies still get an ultra-talented, long corner that Dorsey will surely love.

JFC billay

RealSNR 03-22-2018 10:24 AM

I have Sfeihc's picks. He's free to make them if he shows up, but just because it's so early in the draft I do want to give billay an hour or two.

With the 35th selection in the 2018 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns select D.J. Chark, WR, LSU.

While the Brownies could have gone elsewhere with a "popular" position pick for them, I don't see the need. The Browns do, however, need more help at wide receiver and new GM John Dorsey knows the value of having a speed demon on the outside (see Tyreek Hill). Chark can chew up real estate in a hurry and has a larger build than Hill. He could be an ideal option opposite the slower, possession-type in Jarvis Landry.

Sfeihc 03-22-2018 12:35 PM

The Indianapolis Colts select Mike Hughes, CB, UCF & D.J. Moore, WR, Maryland.

With the Trade for Jason Pierre Paul DE is not a major need and get one later in the draft. Jones is an amazing talent. So many comparisons to Jamal Charles if he has half of the game breaking talent and ability he has Buccaneers are in good shape.

With the 39th Pick in the NFL Draft

The Chicago Bears Select Will Hernandez, Guard, UTEP

The Bears would have considered going with a guard in the first round but Quenton Nelson was taken a pick before them. The Bears drafted the most talented CB in the draft, and now they draft a guard to fill the hole left by Josh Sitton.

Hoover 03-22-2018 09:37 PM

I feel for Direckshun, I mean its hard to find the 32 year old rookies that Gruden will be looking at!

Direckshun 03-22-2018 10:15 PM

I can't believe Connor Williams is still on the board.

The Raiders take Connor Williams, OT, Texas.

Dude is a first round talent and could be the first tackle off the board.

Direckshun 03-22-2018 10:19 PM

For the record, I'm drafting for the Chargers.

You guys have chiefscafan down as the Chargers GM in the 2nd.

CoMoChief 03-22-2018 10:33 PM

With the 42nd pick in the 2018 CP NFL Mock Draft, the Miami Dolphins select, RB Rashaad Penny - San Diego St.

Willie Lanier 03-22-2018 10:49 PM

I know this thread is intended for just those participating, but a quick glance through and I can't believe Derwin James lasted until 20

kccrow 03-23-2018 10:28 AM

No PM so sorry for delay...

With the 43rd selection in the 2018 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots select Malik Jefferson, LB, Texas.

The Pats need a player, similar to what Jamie Collins was, that can rush the passer, drop into coverage, and be a 3 down player. Jefferson offers this versatility, with outstanding speed and burst to go along with being an excellent tackler in tight quarters.

The Franchise 03-23-2018 10:44 AM

Kelley and Perine are garbage RBs.
