Just heard there is going to be a season 2 coming out.

Finished season last night. Pretty fun. Went a little over-the-top with the parallels to the original rivalry at the end. Guess I had also hoped that the Cobra Kai mantra would give the kids confidence to toughen up, but not necessarily require them to become full-on Sith Lords.

I just think its funny Larusso got famous for winning some Jr Karate tournament.

It's like me being famous for kicking ass in little league. LMAO.

Yeah, I was a bit bummed that Miguel ended up being such a dick.

Perhaps he'll find redemption next season.

But it was always in the back of of your head, which way Cobra Kai would turn out. Went in with very low expectations, and loved it.

Loved it, could not stop watching once it started. The 80s kicked ass and this has a ton of it. Cannot wait for season 2.

I liked how the flipped the script and sort of made you root against Daniel at first.....maybe the entire thing? They flipped the script about 3 or 4 times in this thing. Kept it interesting.

Ohhhh, love this. The first season was a revelation. Hope John Kreese gets a lot of stage time.

First season was probably one of the biggest surprises of 2018 for me.

Excited for season 2!

I think I'm the only one that excited about the return of Kreese. I really wanted this to be just a story of Daniel and Johnny. Kreese is really unnecessary for this story.

These guys KILLED the first season. They nailed ALL of their gimmicky references to the movie. Hell, even the preview to S2 has a great rendition of Cruel Summer. I think you have to give them the benefit of the doubt that they'll work Kreese in seamlessly...

I agree with DeBerg. It was shocking how entertaining this was.

Did anyone else notice the sweltering hot women in the preview?

Oh, I'm looking forward to season 2. I just hope Kreese is a small role and not a major role. I think it would be fine without him in it at all but we will see.

While the addition of Kreese could potentially add a cheese element, I trust these guys. Look how they handled Johnny in season 1.

Hell, I’d be on board if they brought in Terry and Mike Barnes from Karate Kid III.

I get the feeling it's going to be much harder to root for the Cobras this season.

I hope they don’t turn Johnny and Creese into one note villains again. Kinda looks like they did. We shall see.

I am thinking they will make it appear that way and toward the end Johnny will rise above it.

First season was great. That trailer makes me think they're going to out do themselves. It looks like it will be a fantastic season.

UGHH I foolishly stayed up late as hell watching the first season.

I new I'd be busy today so I stopped myself halfway through Episode 2.

Just finished it. Certainly darker than last year, but it rocked.

Much darker. Season three will be a long wait.

It will be very interesting how they'll resolve certain plot points in next season

That cliff hanger ending is interesting. Really enjoy this show, esp Johnny's side. Kreese is such a great bad guy. Definitely didn't realize how much I enjoyed the karate kid till watching this series. Don't have YT Red but was able to watch with ads on YT once they dropped em all. Assuming it's a limited time.

Also people that enjoy the show. Zabka and Kove will be at planet comicon kc in March.

I like 'Karate Kid' films. But I don't understand (in general) why there are so many sequels? Why don't they just create new movies with the new stories?
