I almost never have my guns on me. I mostly go to the range and keep them in the house. |
BTW, here are a couple of what I think are good deals. Maybe you will, too.
COLT 1911 45ACP LIGHTWEIGHT XSE - $770 http://www.cdnnsports.com/colt-1911-...-8rd-mags.html ZVS 9MM 124GR FMJ AMMUNITION 50RDS - $9.19 http://palmettostatearmory.com/zvs-9...ds-am1903.html |

A good old .38 revolver wouldn't be a bad choice, either. I concealed a S&W J-Frame for 2 years and loved it. No safety, no bullshit, just pull it out and pull the trigger. The built-in Crimson Trace laser was nice. Stay away from the LC9s. My wife had an Ruger LC9, and hated it. I hate that piece of shit, too. The slide is hard as hell and it kicks like it's shooting 50 cals. |
Brand new Ruger LCP for $199.99. If it didn't have the raspberry-colored frame, I'd get one for myself.

New guns being made in 'Murica!:
https://www.gunsamerica.com/blog/bes...guard-new-gun/ I really like the FIST concept, basically, if you have to pull the gun out and press it into your attacker when shooting, this gun is designed to handle that and function well. |

I own one, BTW. It's cool to charge the gun with a hand slap, but the gun itself comes across as very "Plasticy". |
The MP5 .22 with a little different handguard is now in sale form199 at Palmetto again.
|
Palmetto does it again to my Credit Card! :cuss: :deevee:
VORTEX SPITFIRE 1X PRISM SCOPE WITH DRT (MOA) RETICLE, SPR-1301 $149. Normally $275-$299. Just finished my first AR build. 300 Blackout. All it needed was optics. http://palmettostatearmory.com/revie...list/id/17518/ |
It's been damn near a year since I bough a gun, I need to find something because there is still a little room in the safe. I did however find a decent deal on some S&W .500 ammo on Sunday and pulled the trigger. AR and AK ammo is well stocked so I have been laying low. I need a new toy, Perhaps a .338 Lapua.

.500 ammo is not cheap. Hornady has a special on their LNL progressive press. Find the best deal you can...then they add 500 bullets for cost of shipping. Six weeks left for me to find a good deal and "pull the trigger". |

Found a nice Marlin 39M .22 lever action rifle online. I've had one on my "list" for a while, and couldn't resist. Probably won't receive it until the first week of December.

Would like to get some thoughts and opinions on the Century Arms C39 V2.
I am considering getting one as my first AK. The fact that it's a milled receiver and made in 'merica has my interest. Not really thrilled about "Century Arms" reputation itself, so I am proceeding with caution. Are there any better AK platforms I should be looking at for $800? http://i977.photobucket.com/albums/a...agpul-moe.jpeg |
Does anyone here have any experience with Spikes Tactical? I am actually thinking about building a new AR, using "The Jack" Lower from Spikes Tactical.
http://www.ugimports.com/shop/images...STLB520_01.jpg |
no personal experience but have heard good things about them.
|
I picked up a mini 14 a few weeks ago. Still yet to shoot to shoot it.
|
Spikes lowers are fine.
Hell, just about every lower I have touched is fine. Palmetto's $49 blems are fine. |
More sub $800 AKs http://www.atlanticfirearms.com/ak-4...47-rifles.html I bought my Saiga from these guys, no complaints
|
AKs for $500? Is that real?

Man I had no idea there were so many different makes of AK's. :hmmm: I like the all black magpul look. Got any pics of your Saiga? I'd like to see it. |

Just picked up the Springfield XD9 Mod2 9mm this weekend. It is a nice compact for concealment. I plan on getting my CCW soon.

I am going to post as many Black Friday deals as I find. For anyone interested, I know that SWFA and Palmetto usually have AWESOME deals.
If anyone needs a nice scope for cheap, SWFA will release another fixed 10x with a nice, new reticle on 11/27. It's only going to be $269, which is criminally cheap for the quality. |
I am looking to get a few Giessle 2 stage triggers, so if anyone sees a sale, please let me know.
|
Got any pics of your Saiga? I'd like to see it.
I'm sorry - I'm no photographer. It's a 'stock' model in .223, I was thinking about tarting it up w/AK47 stock/grip, etc...but I just never had the heart. I like it as is. They look like this, for those interested (someone else's photo). https://www.google.com/search?q=saig...oHArCNNrM4k%3D |

Remington is having some nice Black Friday deals valid through Nov 30th.
http://www.remington.com/pages/news-...romotions.aspx The part that caught my attention is the rebate for the Golden Saber and Ultimate Defense ammo. You get $10 back per box ($5 rebate + $5 Black Friday bonus). The max is 10 boxes, or $100 per person. And here is an email I got from Target Sports USA. http://us7.campaign-archive1.com/?u=...1&e=d76319d516 The best deal is the Golden Saber .357 for $2.50 per box after rebate. That is 10 cents per round for self defense hollowpoints! I'd buy a truckload if Remington didn't have a limit on this rebate. |
If you are into reloading, looks like Midsouth Shooting is going to some good deals...http://www.midsouthshooterssupply.co...clicks=bfexbnr
|
I shouldn't post this, but Midway had Acogs on sale for $699 this morning before 8:30am........
I was on the road when I opened the email. DAMNIT. |

I don't need an Acog, but 400 off is unreal for something that rarely goes on sale.

Caught a sneak peak of the SWFA Black Friday sale coming up:
http://www.slickguns.com/product/swf...iday-2015-sale There are 2 pages, so check both. I own a 5-20HD Illuminated, and it is a very nice scope, and nearly unbeatable in terms of value. I am looking at getting a 3-9HD. Anyway, if you are looking for the best scope per dollar, SWFA is the way to go. The Nikon 1-4 M223 for $219 is a very good deal, too. Yeti 45 Cooler for $349, insane. |
Palmetto has the Aimpoint H-1 2 MOA red dot for $399.99 when you use the coupon code "micro."
http://palmettostatearmory.com/aimpoint-micro-h-1.html AIM Surplus has 640 rounds of ZQI 7.62 x 51 for $280 shipped. http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.as...se&groupid=714 |
25% off Geissle triggers on their site.
Saw the Palmetto Micro deal. Excellent, but figure on another C-Note for a mount if you plan on using it on an AR-15. The new Trijicon MRO is going to put a HURTING on micro sales the upcoming year. I have a PRO and it is awesome. A good deal for a pro is around $365. Stay away from the ACO and pay a little extra for a quick release mount, flip caps, etc with the PRO. Munson, your Armalite sale is back on. Just got the email a few hours ago. They have really changed their lineup from last year. |
Is there anything specifically that you guys are looking for?

Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore has some nice deals. Too many things to list, so you'll have to scroll through everything. Free shipping on all guns, too.

Geissle's website melted down instantly at 11pm last night.
I couldn't get the $60/off of the SSA-E trigger there, but I hopped over to Brownells and got the same deal! :D SWFA scope deals are flat-out awesome. I need to chill-out because I already have more scopes than rifles. Still want a fixed-10HD....... |
I shoot a CZ82 in 9x18. Small and recoil is light, not much to go wrong on a blowback design

Hell of a deal here for SBE2 if you live close to this store in MO.

Wow! Not guns or ammo but a Flison Jackets/coats closeout at Natchez. Some of the coats on this page are the best Filson prices I have ever seen and it gets no better than Filson. You rarely if ever see these on sale. There is some regular price stuff mixed in with the closeout goods on the link I provided, but it's very easy to pick out the deals. I had to step up myself.

Decided to change gears and ordered up a Vepr 12 earlier today.
I am pretty stoked as this will be my first tactical shotgun. http://armsofamerica.com/images/prod...DSCN0153.1.JPG This review totally sold me on it. ROFL <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/QlvrwtYfrEg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |

Once I seen this deal I had to jump on it. |
If you are patient you can get the folder for $799.
I did a couple years ago. Don't mess with anything but a VEPR if you want an AK shotgun. |
I'll prob go with a collapsible stock, like a magpul M4 style mil spec.
Have you done any mods to yours yet? |
Quote:
I have friends with converted Saigas and the more shit the put on them, the heavier they get, and the more reliability issues they run into. My VEPR is reliable as hell if I stay away from soft paper reloads. |
Anybody hear about the Eotech fiasco? Basically, their products may not work as advertised, and are getting sued by the gov't. Here's a thread on AR15.com if you really want to read more about it.
http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_1_5/181..._Products.html And it turns out that Eotech is allowing anybody to return their holographic weapon sight for a full refund, plus $15 for shipping costs. I ended up filling out the form on Monday, got approved today (for the full amount that I paid for it last year), and will be shipping it back by the end of the week. It seems that some people are being asked for a copy of their original receipt, but they didn't ask for mine. Just be sure not to ask for more than MSRP, otherwise you might get denied. If you want to return your Eotech red dot for a full refund, fill out this form: http://www.eotechinc.com/return-auth...n-request-form In the "description of failure" section, just write down that you want a refund of X amount of dollars. You don't even need to give a reason. |
The new shotgun came in today. My penis has been erect for well over 4 hours. Should I call a doctor?
http://i977.photobucket.com/albums/a...12-10-2015.jpg Going with the red dot that came with my Sig 556r for now. |
http://i977.photobucket.com/albums/a...20quadrail.jpg
Quad rail, forgrip, trigger group and muzzle break / door breach installed. What do you think? |
If you think your penis is hard now, just wait until you unload 8-10 shells in 2 seconds.
You will be able to shatter diamonds with it. |

Quote:
http://gunssavelives.net/gun-industr...t-sue-kel-tec/ User of Kel Tec KSG Shotgun Allegedly Shoots His Hand Off, Might Sue Kel Tec By Dan Cannon Well, this is certainly an interesting story. According to Lee Williams, the gun writer for the Herald-Tribune, a user of a Kel Tec KSG shotgun allegedly shot himself in the hand, point blank, with a 12 gauge shell while using a Pro Mag Archangel vertical grip. At this point, Williams is the only source for this, so we’ll likely have to wait on more facts to emerge. For now, here is what Williams is reporting, An attorney in Virginia preparing a lawsuit that they will likely file against Kel-Tec and ProMag Industries. It appears that their client was shooting a Kel-Tec KSG equipped with a ProMag “Archangel” polymer forward grip when tragedy occurred. “The properly installed forward grip slid off the gun rail while the user was pumping the gun, resulting in the user shooting off part of his hand,” the attorney wrote on a lawyers-only site. The attorney allegedly notes that there is nothing but a polymer nipple holding the grip to the rail and nothing on the rail to prevent a grip from sliding off. OK. So, there you go. Let’s just assume the above information is accurate for now. First – a vertical grip is not necessarily made to withstand the forces put on it when used as park of a pumping mechanism. Second – even if the vertical grip was faulty, how is that Kel Tec’s fault? Third – the rail is open on the end so you can, wait for it, slide stuff onto it (yes some accessories still have to slide onto a rail before being secured). I could almost see the lawsuit against Promag, but they’ll likely just say the grip was being used in an improper way (which I tend to agree with). I don’t see how Kel Tec should be liable at all. http://cdn5.gunssavelives.net/wp-con...014/08/ksg.jpg |
I can see that happening, too.
Poor bastard. |
