And if the choice is whether or not I want to see Tua in this division or Trevor Lawrence, gimme Tua every time.

People are saying that Mahomes/Mayfield will be the Brady/Manning of the future but that's just wrong. The Manning in this equation ain't in the picture yet. That guy's still waiting for his draft eligibility at Clemson.

Mahomes/Lawrence will be a battle royale for years to come if they ended up in the same conference and an absolute bloodbath if they were in the same division. That rivalry would be incredible.

I’m still waiting for Andrew Luck to not lead the league in sack percentage in spite of his new and improved offensive line.

Yeah, Lawrence looks like he will be even more sure-fire than Luck did coming out of college, but a lot of things can happen. And never underestimate the potential havoc a shitbag team, GM, and/or coach can wreak on the career of a #1 overall QB talent

Exactly. Much more of a "hey we're in Vegas, let's go spend some money" / big dumb spectacle than any kind of traditional NFL fan base.

Lawrence could regress too. He has this year and next year. That’s a long time to live up to expectations as opposed to being drafted on potential.

Nah, I'd prefer that our greatness be as legitimate as possible. The whole world questions and is skeptical of the Patriot's greatness. We will actually earn our dynasty, and I want it to be built upon a foundation made from the mutilated rotting corpses of worthy adversaries. Nobody will question us!

Here’s where #Raiders QB Derek Carr ranks all-time through a player’s first five seasons (per
@pfref)

Completions: 1,759 (1st)
Pass Yards: 18,739 (5th)
Pass TDs: 122 (7th)
INT%: 1.93 (T-3rd)
4th Q Comebacks: 16 (1st)
Game-Winning Drives: 16 (T-4th)

staylor26 08-05-2019 11:40 AM

Lol take out his one fluke/good season and let’s see those #’s.

smithandrew051 08-05-2019 11:45 AM

So Derek Carr averages 3,700 yards and 24 TDs per season? Sounds pretty meh to me.

His trajectory on TD passes would concern me if I were a Raiders fan.

2015: 32
2016: 28
2017: 22
2018: 19

Even if Mahomes is only 80% of what he was last year for the rest of his career, he’ll still be miles ahead of Carr.

I’ll take 4,000 yards and 40 TDs per year.

Not even your HC believes that.

He’d trade every 1st round pick he had in 2019 and those in 2020 for Mahomes.

I've heard stories of people wearing their jerseys and never having a problem, and I've heard of people wearing their jerseys and getting jumped by a dozen Raider fans. Proceed with caution.

Wear a soccer jersey. You're welcome.

Oh they definitely think they’re going to stop our offense by being physical.

Good luck with Abram on the field when we go 5 wide.

So they grabbed Abram and signed Burfict, they are going to defend us by being dirty essentially.

Hy, I'm from Germany and in September I can finally watch a Chiefs Game in the States. Unfortunally in Oakland. Can you tell me if it's ok to wear my Chiefs Jersey in oakland? In Germany and europe it can be quite Problematic to wear the away teams Jersey in the Stadium.

Go with your gut instinct. Wear a Raider jersey and pretend you are a Raiders fan high five the Raider fans sitting around and you'll have nothing to worry about. Tell them your JuanFromGermany. Enjoy the game. GO !

If he does, they should break his leg. I'm serious.

You should honestly be more concerned about Kelce, he's going to be consistently around this guy and Burfict.

Already a couple fights at the Raider/Rams joint practice today. One involving Aaron Donald.

Gabe Jackson seems to seriously injured his leg. Team was circled around him before leaving on the back of a cart. Might have two starting guards out.

Gabe Jackson carted off the field

Raiders are toast. Again.

edit: beaten

And when they help on Jones, Clark is going to rip someone’s soul out of their chest.

The soul chakra is actually located on the top of your head.

Clark is going to have to get a flag for actually un-skulling Carr.

Probably worth it, though.
