Jake Paul and Logan both need to fight an actual fighter. I want them to get rocked.

I want to see Tyson KO Jones jr. Not sure that will happen.

It's embarrassing seeing a fight between a youtube star and a basketball player on a pay per view card.

Right! How can he be pro? You need to go through the amateur ranks first. Must be the money that bought him pro status?

Wow, didn't even know about this boxing going on tonight until 25 minutes ago. Wish he would've lost just because of the arrogant YouTube personality. No dog in any of the other matches though.

I think he had a boxing background as a kid plus being an athlete

The classic installment in the iconic boxing series turns 35.

Sylvester Stallone told Dolph Lundgren during the making of Rocky IV to really hit him — the result was the star being hospitalized in the intensive care unit for nine days.

Yeah, Dolph was a legit kickboxer. Plus he's massive. Not a guy you'd want punching you for real.

Just having 3-minute rounds would have ended it for Jones. He looked gassed.

Same. Tyson looked like the real Iron Mike right at the first bell. He slowed down a little after a couple rounds, but he looked pretty damn good all the way to the end.

And Roy Jones showed me something tonight. He got gassed early, but showed not only a ton of heart, but a lot of savvy veteran ring smarts staying alive through those middle rounds until he got a little wind back and could start throwing some combinations back at Mike. I thought he was dead meat starting the third, but he didn't just survive the last couple rounds, he fought a pretty good fight to end it.

Man, I wish these guys were back in their primes. They'd be killers today.

This. For sure

srvy 11-28-2020 11:45 PM

I was surprised they went 8 Iron Mike got in good shape. Roy Jones Jr took a beating on those ribs. Roy had to lock up and hold to survive he was poorly out of shape. That ref let him hold for too long. I think he was scared of the way he was breathing that he might have a heart bomb. Neither face was marked up badly so any blows to that head must have been glancing. That was no draw but exhibition and charity so I'm good with it.

Like others said Snoop was funny but he walked over the other guys. His line was like his uncle's fighting at a bbq was pretty good. It was fun I enjoyed it except for the mess before it all.

It was impressive tho. What impressed me the most that I do think Roy was a little scared of mike and those blows really hurt him and he’s gonna feel that the next week but he battled.

Triller did a fantastic job with the entertainment side of this card and they've done so with previous fights. Boxing has slowly been making a comeback, both boxing and MMA need to try and emulate this formula ratings will go up especially during these times.

I think Tyson Fury brings some people to boxing now. Not as much as old school Iron Mike. But he’s a polarizing figure. I watch when he’s fighting.

I didn't even recognize Robinson at first.

I will say it took a lot of balls for him to get in the ring and try to fight. He was painful to watch, but he was game. I was shocked he got up after the first knock down and still had it in him to fight. The second knockdown was ugly. I thought he was seriously hurt at first.

I wouldn't have had any idea who he was without someone telling me

'Hamas' Jenkins 11-29-2020 12:30 PM

Robinson didn't even come close to beating the 10 count after the first knockdown and he was clearly out of it when he did get up. The ref allowing that to continue was criminally negligent.

Dude. The guy should never been allowed in the ring in the first place. It's clear he had no idea what he's doing. But if he wants to get embarrassed, that's his decision. Still, the ref is supposed to protect the fighters, even from themselves. Look at his eyes after that first knockdown. No one was home and he wasn't responding to commands. You can't just let the guy get killed. That's not how the sport works.

It was fookin’ awesome tho. And entertaining me is all that matters.

jd1020 11-29-2020 02:44 PM

At the very least, that fight was infinitely more entertaining than the legend fights UFC has promoted of 2 guys beyond retirement. Mainly because Tyson still looked legit in the ring, Roy Jones didn't even look like he wanted to be in there with him.
