Live in Lakewood. My very capable Ram was not very capable in the apartment complex’s parking lot last night. Sun is out today tho!

MMXcalibur 03-15-2024 12:20 PM

19'' in Aurora.

The sun is melting it away so fast that I probably won't need to shovel.

I think he means 39.

It's weird how variable the snow totals are. This storm was really localized. As far as I can tell, we got about 11 inches in central Denver, but we also got a lot of rain that, if it had been snow, would have added another 8 inches or so.

It's all melting now. This was a daydream of a blizzard.

There was a wall of air 20,000 feet up just east of Denver that protected the airport.

Easily my favorite fact that came out of this.

I have a North facing driveway so I kind of pushed a lot of the snow into the sun as opposed to piling it up on my lawn somewhere.

Here we go again - 4 - 11" in the Denver Metro - more along the palmer divide and in the foothills

Katipan 03-25-2024 09:55 AM

It's going to be 70 degrees next weekend. This place is ****ed up.

Otter 03-25-2024 09:59 AM

Today I'm wearing track pants (red) and a t-shirt (South Africa Big Five game animals). Got some Nike tennis shoes on. I'm enveloped in our heating system and don't plan to go outside today, but I bet at some point I put on a hoodie.

Hoodies are criminally underrated.

You have the kangaroo like pouch, a hood, and the loose fitting yet comfortable fit of a cozy sweater. I for one applaud your choice in attire as does William Stephen Belichick I'm certain.

Are you new or something? That's normal.

I resisted the hoodie for years because I didn't like the bunched-up hood behind my neck. In recent years, hoodies have been impossible to avoid so I now have a few and have come to terms with the hood and even put it up on my head occasionally. And I really like the kangaroo pocket.

Today's likely hoodie is a cool-looking tri-stripe souvenir hoodie that I got in Barcelona in 2022. It's a pullover and looks more like a sweatshirt than a hoodie at first glance.

I fully embraced the track pants look back during the shutdown. They cost 25 bucks and they're comfortable. I see now why New Jersey mobsters and third-world proto-Europeans wear them.
