Seahawks DST vs. SF
Colts DST vs. Minny The Seahawks really fucked me last week. I think they netted me 0 points last week. Against the Bills...should I start them against SF or the Colts vs. Minny, even though they have AP and looked weak against the Bears last week. I'm leaning towards the Hawks again..but I'd like some other opinions. |

I agree, except Housh for CJ. I'd personally try to package Royal and a lesser RB for an upgrade. |
Need a 2nd flex starter, which will be either a 5th WR or 3rd RB. This is a PPR, yardage devalued league.
Pierre Thomas at Wash Eddie Royal vs. SD Selvin Young vs. SD I'm leaning Royal, but the Skins run D looks soft and NO will likely run the ball more w/o Colston. Thoughts? |
Gimme Selvin Young, Pittsie.

Go with Eddie Royal. Cutler seems to love him. And yes I know Marshall is coming back but Marshall will be covered by Cromartie.
|

But, if you want to ask advice and be a dick about it - it's all good. Don't play Selvin Young. Just next time don't ask for advice, either. |
Help out with my terrible WRs:
I'm starting Andre Johnson, but I need two more starters out of: Roddy White Sydney Rice David Patten Donte Stallworth (Questionable) |
ok, so what would ya do?
Matt Cassel @ NYJ Matt Hasselbeck vs SF leaning towards Cassel for the WR/RB slot Matt Forte @ Car Wes Welker @ NYJ leaning towards Forte right now my starting lineup is QB- Matt Cassel @ NJY WR- Reggie Wayne @ Min WR- Plaxico Burress @ Stl WR- Andre Johnson vs Bal RB- Adrian Peterson vs Ind TE- Chris Cooley vs NO W/R- Matt Forte @ Car K- Shayne Grahm vs Ten D- Dallas vs Phi Bench Wes Welker Santana Moss Felix Jones Bernard Berrian Kevin Smith Matt Hasselbeck |

I'm not writing him off after 1 game.... just not sure I want to play him this week. Touchy, touchy. |
Then that's all you should have said.
.5 points per completion/reception Who do you roll with? My WRs are thin because Colston went down. Garrard v Buffalo, or Delhomme v. Chi? I'm leaning towards DG. Pick 3 - Cotchery v NE Galloway v Atl Bryant Johnson @ Sea Hackett v Chi Mason @ Houston Some FAs to ponder: Reggie Brown, Porter, Darrell Jackson, Gaffney, Kevin Walter, Patten (who could possibly be a could P/U), Toomer. |
Quote:
|
I need a 3rd receiver out of this group.
Derrick Mason @ Houston (weather issues?) Roddy White @ Tampa Tony Gonzalez home vs. Raiders Eddie Royal home vs. SD |
Reaper - Roddy White and David Patten
Gonzo versus Oakland for the reason I'm a homer and Oakland's pass D looked awful last week. |
Quote:
Which defense would you people start this week? Tennessee Vs. the Bengals Minnesota Vs. the Colts I'm leaning towards the Titans as Minnesota's passing D wasn't great at Green Bay...and I expect Manning to bounce back this week. |
Out of the following three receivers, which two do you pick?
A. Johnson at home against Baltimore. B. Marshall at home against San Diego. Santonio Holmes at Cleveland. |

Need two starters out of:
Lee Evans vs. Jacksonville Fred Taylor vs. Buffalo Ricky Williams vs. Arizona Kevin Walter vs. Baltimore David Patten vs. Washington |

So, what do I exactly need to do to get someone to answer my questions?

As for QB, that's a pretty tough call. I don't really like either matchup. I think its a toss-up and I wouldn't rely on anyone here to tell you one way or the other. |
McNabb vs. Dallas
or Warner vs. Miami |
Warner
|
I decided to drop Hackett and I picked up David Patten.

At this point, he's an every-week start. |

McNabb. I think that's going to be a fun game to watch - even though I hate both teams. Should be a lot of points scored. |
A couple of more....
Garrard v Bills or Schaub v Ravens and Michael Turner @ Bucs or Matt Forte @ Panthers |
Quote:
|
Current WRs
Roy Williams vs GB Anquan Boldin vs Miami Lee Evans @ Jacksonville (I have Bryant Johnson @ Seattle and Joey Galloway versus Atlanta on the bench... and even though Galloway was a nice surprise last year, I'm not really thinking about starting either of them) So, the question is... should I pick up David Patten (Colston is out 4-6 weeks) and play him this week @Washington, and who does he replace? I'm leaning towards replacing Evans, but he had 100+ yards against Seattle last week... probably the luck of the draw on this one, but I'll probably pick him up regardless. |

I think Marshall is going to come out and make a statement. |
Since my RBs are pathetic to begin with having Willis' and the Ravens game postponed may cost me.
Currently, I've got Selvin Young against Sandy-Eggo. I need one more of the three: Tim Hightower @ Miami Kolby Smith v. Jokeland Rudi Johnson v. GB I'm leaning more towards Hightower - and I've no idea why. |
I have a bit of an issue I have 3 very capable RB's and only 2 starting spots....
Marion Barber, Michael Turner, Willie Parker.... What do you guys say? |
Quote:
|
frank gore, or willie parker? rest of my roster is set
|
Hey Lundberg - I hope you started Kurt Warner.
|
Week 3 question. Who to start at WR3 spot? Housh @NYG, Welker vs. Miami, or Royal vs. NO? Housh has been disappointing thus far, and I don't see him rebounding against NYG, I was thinking Welker, but Yahoo has him projected as only getting 6 points.

I am actually considering benching LT this week if that toe injury doesn't improve. I have Michael Turner on my bench, and if last Sunday was any indicator, he should have a big game. My other RB starter is Gore and there is no way I sit him when he is playing Detroit.

I wouldn't care if the Saints get all of there starters back..I would definitely go with Royal. You saw what Brandon Marshall offers and he'll distract the Saints secondary a lot..plus you have to think about the QB. Cutler throws a lot and is way better than Cassell.

For week 3:
Need two RB's. Marion Barber vs GB at GB Brandon Jacobs vs CIN at home Julius Jones vs STL at home Kenny Watson vs NYG at NYG Scoring for RB's in my league: Rushing TD - 6 pts Receiving TD - 12 pts Rushing Yards - 10 pts/100 yds then 1 pt for every additional 10 yds Receiving - 5 pts/50 yds then 1 pt for every additional 10 yards |
I may be in the norm luv - but gimme Brandon Jacobs and Julius Jones - based on matchups alone.
However, I don't think you can do any wrong starting Barber. |
Need some advice:
McNabb - vs Pitts D Cassel - vs Fins (I also have Moss so chance to double up on pts) For RB: Jones-Drew @ Indy Willie Parker @ Philly Then I also just picked up Jerious Norwood vs the our pathetic team. |
I never got a response on benching LT for Turner this week. I know that you never bench a fantasy stud like LT, but with his toe injury I am leary about starting him this week. He didn't make through the first quarter last week. I saw what Chokeland did against KC's run D last week, and that makes me think that Turner will probably have a great fantasy day. Thought?
|
Quick hitter - Housh at NYG or Stewart at Minn. Since it's a PPR league and Stewart has yet to catch a pass, I'm leaning Housh.
|
Ugh. I don't like either choice. Housh has done shit this year. I thought he would be my number one, but I am benching him in favor of Eddie Royal this week.
|
Stewart..for sure.
|
Pick 3: Randy Moss vs. Miami, Fitzgerald @ Wash., Calvin Johnson @ SanFran or Cotchery @ SanDiego.
|
Moss, Fitz, CJ.
|
Bowe or Chambers vs Jets?
(non biased please) |
Easy pick - Chambers.
|
Laveranues Coles v. SD (gimpy) or Bryant Johnson v. Det.
(it's a deep league) |

Which RB's do you start, i have to start 2
Darren Sproles, Lendale White, Thomas Jones, Edgerrin James, and Chester Taylor...yes my rbs suck So far ive put Sproles and Taylor, but ill be checking game time decisions before the game. |

http://www.rotoworld.com/images/teamlogos/NFL_sm/SD.gifDarren Sproles-RB- Chargers Sep. 21 - 1:57 am et Darren Sproles was a late addition to the Chargers' injury report Saturday. He is listed as probable with a hamstring injury. The injury is unlikely to affect his playing status against the Jets, but he's still worth checking on before Monday night's game. Sproles' long speed, explosive first step, and change-of-direction skills could pose matchup problems for a Jets defense that got a lot bulkier during the offseason. http://www.rotoworld.com/content/pla...aspx?sport=NFLLaDainian Tomlinson-RB- Chargers Sep. 21 - 1:53 am et LaDainian Tomlinson (turf toe, questionable) practiced on Saturday. In an somewhat odd late move, Darren Sproles was added to the Chargers' injury report with a hamstring injury, though he is listed as probable for Week 3. http://www.rotoworld.com/images/teamlogos/NFL_sm/SD.gifSproles is still slated to face the Jets, but the extent of his Saturday practice was unknown. As for LT, coach Norv Turner said "the issue is sustaining it and how long it feels that way," indicating he doesn't necessarily expect Tomlinson to make it all the way through Monday's game. Neither is a safe RB2, but if your league awards points for catches, Sproles is a stronger play. LT is unlikely to be used in space often because he can't cut at full speed. He could still get more carries between the tackles, including goal-line chances. With that in Mind, I'd go Sproles & Jones, I think AP says he's god to go for the Vikes. |
Pick 2 WR's.....
Brandon Marshall Jericho Cotchery DeSean Jackson Pick a defense Colts or Eagles |
so what's the consensus here on starting Adrian Peterson? Do you start Chester anyway if AP does "get the start" or just go for broke with the Hammy he's got?
|
Quote:
And take the Colts at home |
Look at how SD's pass D got lit up last week.
Cotchery is a good start, IMO. Marshall is a must start. |

What three RB should i start?
McFadden Addai Forte C Johnson M Turner |

Yea, im gonna go with Forte, Turner and Johnson. Addai's line is shaky and McFadden is a little dinged up and shares carries. |

Yea, im wondering if i should offer up a trade for one? My WR's are weak: Bowe, Berrian, Issac Bruce and Robert Meacham |
I went ahead and started Taylor AN Peterson, lol! I have not other viable options at RB with Maroney injured for however long
|
Quote:
|
Friggin Housh. I decide to sit him and he has a great game. He outscored my 3 starting receivers combined. Fortunately, Gore and Turner combined for 50 points and covered my WR corps.
|
Pick my two RB starters - I'm leaning towards Lynch and Forte
Lynch vs. Rams Portis vs. Cowboys Forte vs. Eagles Pick my three WR/TE starters - I'm leaning towards Johnson, Royal and Winslow. Santana Moss vs. Cowboys Ocho Stinko vs. Browns Andre Johnson vs. Jags Vincent Jackson vs. Raiders Eddie Royal vs. Chiefs Kellen Winslow vs. Bengals |
