According to CP, Jones missing the first playoff game last year was a "business decision" because he only cares about money.

Nagging groin injury + first of three games in a 10 day time frame + Brian Hoyer... smart decision to rest Jones tonight.

staylor26 10-05-2020 04:12 PM

I’d rather have a guy that occasionally gets banged up and misses a game or two than a guy that has season ending injuries every couple of years.

Megatron96 10-05-2020 04:15 PM

CJ is fine.

If Cam was playing, or if Brady was still their QB, CJ would be playing tonight, no question.

But it's Hoyer. Let's be honest, if the Chiefs play to their average and can't beat Hoyer on 3 days notice or whatever without CJ, then the Chiefs aren't really very good anyway.

JakeF 10-05-2020 04:25 PM

Jones would have feasted on a QB like Hoyer.

Why Not? 10-05-2020 04:34 PM

Brilliant move. Andy is coaching this season like the only thing that matters is defending the crown. I love it.

I'm fine with it. This is not a sprint, it's a marathon.

Pats are going to pound the ball like it is the 40's again.

BigRedChief 10-05-2020 04:37 PM

I was hoping they would do this. Sit him out Sunday too. Going to need him vs Bills. History has proven that Groins can linger if not properly rested and healed.

I’m sure spags is planning the Derrick Henry defense. It’s their only hope to win.

And what a "groin" it is!

I wonder how many and more 9-10's want him after they view the combine video?

Got his money and missing games. Oh that is right he was missing games before he got his money.

Not really. They're going to run the ball and run the ball some more.

Leave him out and get him healthy.
