Well I am really glad you like the first single and I'm super anxious to release it all!

Do you get a better cut ($) from BandCamp as opposed to Amazon?

Good stuff! I'm a huge SW/PT fan and got my sons turned onto them; my youngest (21) has recently introduced me to Katatonia. (Did you watch their live in studio concert that streamed Saturday?) I'll be sure to pass this on to them.

Very cool, Kyle... been wondering when we’d hear about some new music from you

Youve got that atmospheric, dreamlike thing down cold

Bandcamp takes a 15% cut whereas Amazon takes like 9% on digital downloads.

I prefer BUYING music on Bandcamp, because I love the interface, how it works, and the collection it builds... but I always recommend buying an album from the server YOU like to use.

Also, for anyone wanting to pre-order My album on bandcamp, the link is now fixed. =/

CDBaby still hasn't passed my album through review, so it's not available to pre-order anywhere else as of now.

MOLITOTH! I'm so glad I decided to log onto the Planet today. I really dug the build & denouement on the single. Gonna pick this album up next Bandcamp Day. Congratulations!

Kyle so awesome! Love the song and congrats on your album! Man I know this makes you feel incredible - best of luck in your future endeavors! :thumb:

Frazod 05-11-2020 10:50 PM

That was fantastic. Well done!

Great stuff! Especially love the vocals and bass. Can't wait to hear the rest.

=)

You did a great job of covering over the obvious guitar parts by overtaking it with vocals.
I really enjoyed it. Nice job! (even as a guitar player).:thumb:

I've listened to this a half dozen times now, I really dig it. I'll be purchasing this on June 26th.

In the vid, was your walk through the woods around the Weston state park? That was a nice touch.

Randallflagg 05-17-2020 01:57 PM

Just gave it a listen.....As a Bass Player myself, Congratulations!! Too often the bass is limited to the "background". This reminds me (in a strange way) of the later albums of YES -with a bit of early U2 (go figure!)

Well Done! Well done, indeed!

I could be wrong but for the Month of MAY bandcamp is waving fees and all proceeds are going directly to the artist.

Thanks everyone! You are making me feel tingly inside! Responses like these are why people release art.

Good news today as I just heard Metal Injection will be doing the album release feature/premiere... which is amazing because that website is huge.
Also, CDbaby approved the album for digital distribution (which took longer than normal, supposedly due to Coviid).

You will be able to pick it up on these outlets:

I'm still struggling with releasing Physical media at this point. Without playing live shows, I think it may be tough recouping the money on my own in 2020.
I know that I don't buy CD's anymore, I buy everything digitally and support artists through Tshirts/merch.

Are any of you peeps still buying CD's?
Thoughts?

Bowser 05-19-2020 05:27 PM

Yeah, I'm still a sucker for CDs from time to time. I guess I'm getting to that "old fart, stuck in my ways" place, lol.
