Actually, no, you're right. Alex does try as hard as he can so we probably shouldn't boo him.

Maybe this will be a big metaphor for Alex "flipping the switch" or having a "light bulb moment". A precursor to the Chiefs running the table and surprising everyone with home field advantage in the playoffs.
