My only ask if people choose to attend is to "be cool." I'm not THAT worried about it, but I know we have some...interesting personalities...around here. If anyone chooses to go, either leave the family alone or keep anything you say very brief. From an outsider's perspective, "random guy on the internet" isn't exactly a close friend, and Ed tended to keep his family private for the most part.

Thanks Daface! Did he not have any living relatives or a spouse? Usually they list surviving family and I would think a guy that young would have some.

He mentioned doing chores for his elderly parents early in this thread. And I believe he had a sibling but I don't remember if brother or sister. He wasn't married.

Damn, he wasn't even 50.

Gone way too soon

Good to know he had someone. Hopefully his elderly parents were not relying on him.

He had a brother and elderly parents he took care of. No significant other or children.

1. If you live within 20-30 miles it should be easy to attend for 20 minutes as respect to a great guy.

2. If someone printed out all the responses and kind words from the day we found that Lonewolf Ed passed and presented it to someone in his family, that would make a HUGE impact.

3. I would assume that his family and friends would be grateful and deeply humbled that people who never met Ed felt moved enough to attend.

That's my .02 worth and I would easily attend if I was within 30 minutes.

Maybe a group of CP'ers who are interested in going can all meet up and show up wearing RED ties as a tribute to Ed.

You'd have to be careful about printing the whole thread. Definitely some posts that shouldn't be in that stack.

I sure wish Fast Eddie could be here to revel in our first round QB with us

You did see I said AFTER we found he passed, that's maybe 6-7 pages out of 160
