Mondesi maybe? Then Whit plays 2nd full time and Bonifacio splits time in right with Paulo?

Just a guess...

Now, the question related to the previous point is when will Soler be back? When he was diagnosed with the strain, it was called grade one and the thought was that he could be out on a rehab assignment relatively quickly. He aggravated the injury swinging before he was ready to be sent out and the Royals said he’d take a couple days and then be on an assignment by the end of the week. Let’s just say this wouldn’t be the first time the Royals haven’t been completely forthcoming with an injury. And it’s not that they have to be, but they just haven’t been all the time. If Soler is out for longer than expected, I’d really like to see them give Jorge Bonifacio his first shot. Coming into play yesterday, he was hitting .304/.385/.587 with three homers and three other extra base hits. But maybe more importantly, he’s significantly cut down on his strikeouts with a rate of 13.5 percent compared to 23.3 percent last season. The Royals were high enough on Bonifacio a few years ago to cite him as a reason why they were comfortable trading Wil Myers, and he’s really starting to put it all together this season in Omaha. Maybe, just maybe, he’s the answer in the short-term in right field if Soler can’t come back relatively soon.

Yesssssssssssssssssssssssss

Zimmer was pulled from the game yesterday with shoulder soreness. :)

RE: Bonifacio- No corresponding move announced by the Royals yet. Boner was slashing .305/.385/.587 in AAA-Omaha. I'm pumped to see what he can do.

I feel like I've seen this movie before.

Or cut bait with Alshittys

If you want to give Mondesi 500ab just move him to SS and get the Alshittys experiment over already. They both cannot be in the same lineup

This.

Zimmer....sigh.

Hes never gonna make the big league club

Hoz felt he needed to take over Butlers job of rally killing GIDPs

Like the promotion of Bonifacio, hoping they give him most of the run in RF now.

He's very similar to Cuthbert in pedigree (top 100 list at times), and it's really encouraging he cut his K numbers so drastically so far this season.

Offense stinks. For many reasons. I like shuffling it up.

They have to send Mondesi back down at this point. His struggles with the bat are starting to affect him. Rebuild his confidence, let him develop further, and ride with other options at the position.

The only thing that's lacking are selfies at Gates before one of the top 5 games in franchise history.

Makes sense. They wanted an eighth reliever, so they didn't want to send Alexander back down. Orlando was CF insurance for Cain, but I suppose in a pinch they can shift Gordo over there and put Moss or Whit in LF.

Why Not? 04-21-2017 12:41 PM

Good.

Chiefspants 04-21-2017 12:45 PM

Hopefully GMDM has learned his lesson here. Watching Mondesi at the plate was flat out painful.
