Teams are currently targeting a T-0 of 10:00 a.m. EST, or 15:00 UTC, two hours into the six-hour test window. A backup opportunity with a six-hour launch window opening at 8:00 a.m. EST, or 13:00 UTC, is available on Monday, January 20.

Kind of crazy to see a six-hour window. Guess it makes sense when all you're trying to do is blow the damn thing up. ROFL

NASA TV maybe? I really don't know. The webcast goes live in 10 minutes:

Yes, on NASA TV, 10:10am according to channel.

Now says 10:!2 on screen.

Surprised that none of the usual official streams are going.

T-23m

EDIT:
Starting on SpaceX YouTube stream. Music is live!

limested 01-19-2020 09:10 AM

Part of a contractual agreement to perform a live test of the in-flight abort safety systems.

unlurking 01-19-2020 09:13 AM

T-16 and both NASA and SPaceX streams live!

EDIT:
If watching on YT, both streams seem to be the same, but SpaceX stream is a few seconds ahead and in 1080p vs NASA's 720p.

Thanks

Was interesting to hear Bob brag about how cool it is that SpaceX is spending the money to do this test. Felt a bit like a dig against Boeing who is doing paper based testing/evaluation of in-flight abort. I'd feel more comfortable with a live test too!

Donger 01-19-2020 09:31 AM

Boom!

DaFace 01-19-2020 09:39 AM

Well, that was spectacular.
